Whatever gets me through the night
Tonight I'd like to say it's gonna be alright

She blinked. Aether didn't like it? Wow. Just... wow. After all of that fuss from before, and now he comes out and says he doesn't even like the food. That was a waste of time, and energy only to find out you didn't like your own cooking. Seyka should have gotten upset, and yelled at him for it. Maybe even scold him a little for giving her a run around! However the kitty cat girl just tilted her head slightly to the side curiously. "Doesn't taste bad to me," she said getting through three-quarters of the way through her bowl. "Then again, I'm not a picky eater so I suppose I could eat almost anything."

She couldn't help but giggle at the face his made. Seyka concluded that dinner time was over, and placed her bowl down before licking her paws clean. The little feline swished her tail in the process until she deemed her paws clean as a whistle. "Don't force yourself to eat it if you don't like it," she smiled. "I'm done myself~"

A small yawn escaped from her lips. The scraps of what remained of her meal went into the fire giving off a small puff of smoke before returning back to normal warm light. Perhaps it was time to call it a night~ Stretching out her limbs for a moment or two, she purred softly before turning her head back over to Aether. "I think I'll turn in for the night," she nodded her head.

Just as she said that though there was a wolf's cry out to the moon tonight somewhere off in the distance. The howl cause the hairs on her kitty cat ears to shoot up along with her tail as well. Almost as fast as lightning, she clung onto Aether for dear life. Sey Sey didn't like canines either, might that be added. "Mew..." she whimpered pathetically.

Everything just became one giant diabetic heart attack.

Aether was glad that she didn't get mad. She seemed to be getting full herself, so it seemed like it wouldn't be a problem. He figured if she was getting full, then it would just be time for dinner to come for an end, causing her to go on the right track concerning what to do next. Sleep was the thing to do, it would help her sickness, as she really did need rest. But watching her clean up, licking her paws while her tail swished, it was just too cute to see her acting like an actual kitty. Aether just wanted to move on over and play with her, maybe pet her or just dangle a few objects in front of her.

That was then followed by her purring and stretching. Seyka was just far too cute to be safe, and far too cute to ignore. He wondered if she ever considered weaponizing her cuteness, turning it into an ability of pure destruction. He really couldn't fight it anymore. Slowly, he crawled over, and reached out a hand to pet the kitty. But it seemed that nature had given her other ideas, not that he would really be complaining about what was going on.

He instantly felt the kitty completely latching onto him while mewing in one of the most adorable manners he had ever heard. His face turned red in a heartbeat as blood swelled to his cheeks. He wasn't used to stuff like this, but he'd try. He held up his arms and wrapped them around the kitty as he pulled her close to him. "It's alright, they won't hurt you." He murmured as he gently ran his nails over her back in a soothing manner. "Anything I can do?" If she wanted him to help calm her down, he wouldn't mind. Her earlier antics had left him in a surprisingly gentle mood, maybe. Aether was always nice and polite, but this could just be seen as endearing.

Wolves, she cringed mentally. Canines frightened the poor dear to death, be it the actual dogs themselves or the Minish variants. They just didn't strike the girl as the most appealing thing ever to come onto this earth. They had terrible habit of chasing the poor kitty up into trees, and she ended up staying up in trees until they got bored of her. Some things don't ever change no matter how humanoid you make an animal. Cats will forever hate dogs, and vice versa. She was on the verge of crying - that was how scared Sey Sey was of canines.

"Heke?" she mewed. Her eyes widened a bit realizing Aether wrapping his arms around her lithe little frame. Her cheeks flushed bright red as he drew her close, her body trembling with anxiety, and instant nervousness. Her heart was beating so loud again! Make it stop, it's so annoying, she wanted to cry out! Yet the soothsayer spoke gentle words to the cat girl. Her tension slowly but surely began to die down. A pleasant shudder ran up and down her spine enjoying the tips of his fingers grazing her back to keep her calm.

"Please," she spoke softly, "Stay with me... lay by my side tonight?" He was the one who asked if he could do anything to help her. Her magenta eyes looked back up to Aether as if pleading to him don't leave the kitty alone. Adorableness was a force to be reckoned with~

Her request definitely caught him off guard. Sleep with her? That was unusual, that was something he hasn't done, could he actually go through with it? He actually thought he couldn't, and was in fact, going to protest her request, but that all changed the moment he actually saw her expression. This just wasn't fair, he was only mortal, and there was no way a mortal could resist a kitty girl like that. "Alright." He complied, and temporarily released the minish from his grasp, moving over to Seyka's backpack as he began to root through it.

It wouldn't be long before he found what he was looking for; a sleeping bag. Taking the sleeping bag from Seyka's backpack, Aether unrolled it onto the ground, providing a comfy place for them to sleep. He smiled, figuring that would do. At least they would be safe throughout the night, but he was still nervous about doing this. He hadn't done anything like this ever before, so he was afraid that he would do something wrong or that that she would get mad at him. If she changed her mind, then he'd comply. It wasn't that he didn't want to do it, he just wasn't even sure how the whole thing would go.

Taking hold of the kitty once more, he dragged her with him as he slipped into the sleeping bag, wrapping his arms tightly around Seyka. His cheeks flared, but he found it nice. He hadn't really ever cuddled with anyone before, at least, that was what he considered this, but he did seem to like it. Maybe it was just because it was Seyka, and that she wouldn't mind this, or that maybe she would actually enjoy this, he wasn't quite sure. Despite that, "Goodnight, Seyka." He smiled as he wished her a pleasant night, his hands running through her lavender locks.

Seyka had to admit, she really didn't think the phrase 'ask and you shall receive' was that effective, especially when asking something as outrageous as sleeping together with someone. Especially when you didn't know them that well. Seyka was willing to take her chances since she really didn't want to be alone tonight. It was already a stretch for her to be out in the fields at night, and she really didn't like paranormal activities. Still, it brought her great relief to hear that he was willing to accept such a request from the cat girl. When he complied a small smile formed upon her lips filled with delight~

He released her for a moment to set up sleeping arrangements. While he did that Seyka thought over exactly what came out of her mouth a few seconds ago. If this was an anime, smoke would be steaming out of her kitty cat ears. Blush dusted her cheeks actually starting to think about how ridiculously needy she was being. She was very tempted to change her mind at the last second, and call the thing off! Goddesses, how embarrassing...

The poor cat girl found herself losing her words after Aether finished setting up the sleeping back, and tugged her back with him. Faster than a blink of an eye, her back was pressed against his chest as his arms surrounded her. How did this happen? She was feeling dizzy, but despite the nervousness wrecking through her mind there was comfort in this embrace. Closing her eyes, she purred softly feeling his fingers stroking through her hair.

"G-Goodnight, Aether," she stuttered a little, but returned the kind gesture. The little cuddle fluff snuggled up close to him making herself comfortable in his hold.
