Days Like Today (Finished)

That's it? Just I see? What a letdown. She thought to herself as he walked out. The sky had cleared up. She caught up to him and guided him towards her favorite inn. "There's a nice place I stay at when I travel here. They give me a discount. It's not too far." Her wings were retracted as she led him out towards the inn.

Leading the way, she wondered how he managed to acquire such a fan base if he didn't care about them. Maybe the apathy drove them to him. Or maybe he was just that good. Maybe he had some big break she wasn't aware. She didn't really care, he was cute and that was what mattered right now.

She had retracted her wings. Zaph was almost curious enough to simply ask her about herself; then again, he was more a physically-attracted person, and didn't much care for the emotional or real side of her. To him, she was another piece of meat, but she was also beginning to be something else... Zaph didn't particularly like it, only because it was different to him, but he couldn't deny that it was unusually easing...

And so the supposed fairy led on, towards an inn at which she could get a discount. Zaph pondered if he was really going through with this, and he was, but he almost wondered if it was a bad idea. He shrugged the idea off, however, and followed the fairy woman into the inn.

Titania strolled into the in, Zaph not far behind. She walked up to the owner, who recognized her immediately.

She threw him a sack, not too large but not a small quantity. "The usual, my good man. I assume you left the room open?" She then motioned for Zaph to follow her upstairs to her quarters.

The room wasn't particularly special. Quaint, small, a couple of chairs, a desk and a queen bed. Titania preferred it for its simplicity, it provided a nice contrast for the extravagance she allowed herself at the fairy's palace.

Turning towards Zaph, she smiled and removed her weapons, setting them on the desk. "I always liked this place. It was never the fanciest inn, but it's quaint and no one ever bothers you unless you ask for it."

Zaph followed closely behind, still not realizing just who he was with. He nodded semi-politely to the innkeeper, and followed Titania upstairs and into the room. It was a nicely put-together room; pleasing to the common man. The bed and the chairs and the like were all clean, which was good relief from some of the inns that Zaph had seen in the past.

Sighing, he removed his blazer and set it on the back of his chair. He messed with his hair, getting the water out of it, having not previously done so, and then looked over to Titania. "Seems that way." He said plainly, recognizing the dull of the situation. It was relaxing, however, and that's what he needed. He desperately needed to get his mind off of the bar and what happened in the bar.

Still saying nothing, Zaph slowly approached Titania, giving her another look up and down.

Titania gave Zaph a look as he did the same with her. At least she didn't have to wonder whether or not he liked her physically. Emotionally, she was starting to wonder if he actually had them at all. But that didn't matter now. Now was simply a physical moment.

"For a moment I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to have you this night. Your stoic nature is impossible to read you sly devil you." She put her arms around his neck and winked at him. The next move was his, whether or not he chose to take it. Although it was a little late to be turning back now, she thought.

Zaph's arms came around her waist, and he rested one on the curve of her butt, where he enjoyed women the most. His expression, however, remained, for the most part, unchanging. He was still somewhat emotionless, though he offered her a slight half smile. "I'm hard to read. I will always be hard to read." And they were the only words he said.

His other hand found its way to her butt, and he leaned in and gently kissed her, playing with her upper lip. He started slowly, and picked up his pace a bit, waiting for her reaction.

Titania rolled her eyes. Reading people was supposed to be one of her specialties, and here she was failing hard. But his actions did suggest he wanted something that she had, and something she was more than willing to give him.

As his hand made its way to her rear and he went in for the kiss, she returned it. She loved the feel of his lips, he kept himself well. She ran a hand through his wet, messy hair. As he intensified the kiss, she matched him lip for lip. When she met him, she knew he was attractive and she'd been looking forward to this.

Zaph was certainly enjoying himself, and it was a good relief from the bar earlier that day. He was happy to be away from that setting, and he was also happy to be here with someone so attractive. A fairy. Now he could tell people that he'd slept with a fairy... Then again, Zaph realized he didn't really have that many people he could tell. Disregarding his thoughts as nonsense, Zaph focused on the issue at hand.

He slowly pushed the woman onto the bed, following her down. He continued to kiss her, and his hands freely moved about her body. He decided that tonight would be a good night, a memorable one, and hopefully she was as good as she hinted herself to be...

Titania didn't resist Zaph. It was clear what he wanted and she willing to give all of it to him. She kissed him longingly, knowing that tonight was going to be a good night.

OOC: Comedic last post, go!

Zaph awoke with a start. The sun was shining through the windows brightly, as if to reveal the scene that Zaph was currently in. He knew now that he had to get the hell out of there. In an anxious fury, he threw the covers off and got out of bed. He quickly got dressed, grabbed his things, and he ran like hell out of the inn.

Titania awoke from the events of last night with a stretch and a smile. That was certainly a lot of fun. Of course, he wasn't there to thank him. He had already bolted. Not too surprising. He might have actually shown emotion if he had stayed any longer. She herself took her time, getting dressed and calmly heading back to the forest.
