If there was enough hydration in his body, he probably would have wet himself right then and there. Her attitude was frightening now, as if it wasn't before. He shivered and all the color drained from his face.
"I-I-I d-d-don't wanna die!" He yelled before before screaming like a lost little girl. He could have casted a magic spell right there, but what could he cast that would be helpful? Conjure milk would just make her angry, and mend and vague weren't going to help.
He screamed again as he attempted to wriggle free of her iron grip. All he wanted to do was go home, he didn't ask to die. It was just a cruel prank after all. They didn't want to kill him, he was no use to them dead.

Suddenly, the red dome of light that encircled Slaughter went off like a bomb, instantly exploding and radiating light and energy from her body and encompassing a radius that stretched out far into the desert.
She let go of the poor creature known as Thoven, as the energy reverberated through her body, passing through it and exploding over his. As her hands slipped off of his collar, Slaughter's eyes rapidly reverted back to their typical shade of blue, and her hair returned to its normal platinum blonde color. The wave of energy should not have killed the sad, worm-like little milkman, if he was lucky and not as physically incapable as he appeared.
After the red energy dissipated, a much more gentle looking, blue-eyed, blonde haired Slaughter sat in a heap on the sand, stunned. She squinted her eyes, which felt as if they were searing in the sunlight, and held her head in her hands. "W-where am I?"

Thoven was immediately knocked to the ground and felt a sharp searing pain through his body. Luckily, it wasn't nearly enough to kill him, since his natural luck shot most of the energy the wrong way. Why was he so lucky? No one really knows. Maybe he has a guardian angel, who for him would have to be a massive troll given the mishaps Thoven gets into.
He quickly hopped up and began to run away from the scene, when he heard her speak. Her voice, and also her appearance had changed dramatically after that explosion of energy. He closely inched his way up to her, careful to not upset her again, lest she try the walking bomb trick again.
"You're in the Desert. You were leading me out when you suddenly began to glow and exploded in a shower of energy." He kept his distance from her as he pulled out a bottle from his sleeve and hid it in his robes so sand wouldn't get in, as he opened the bottle and filled it with milk.
