[Okay, remember you can choose whether you want to be knocked out or die.
There's no posting order, but only post once, and then I'll post, and we'll go like that for the whole quest.
Oh, and it's outside of any sub-boards because you might have to explore all the places, if needed, in Lanayru province to find this dragon. Just a heads up~
This RP will be in LS style during battles. Otherwise, it'll be like any other rp on the site. Think Dungeons and Dragons, how I'll be running it, basically. =)
Another note - you can start anywhere in Lanayru province that you want, just make sure that you state where you are clearly, and I'll come up with something to get you all together. You don't all have to be together to start.]
Ic:
Deep within the soils of Hyrule, a dragon born from hell’s bowels itself resided. No one knew what it looked like, never even knew it was there. Its goal is unknown to anyone, not even I. I was there bearing witness as it sprung up from the molten lava and rock and stone and dirt, out of Death Mountain, and it is I who will help you now. It is I who sent you this note.
And to help you, I will journalize the path of someone who will cross you in your quest.
*
He stooped down to touch the burnt ground. It was still hot, so hot in fact that the very first layer of skin burned off his finger. Up ahead, as far as he could see, the field of Hyrule was covered in fire and death. It would take enormous amounts of magic or time for anything to grow back here again. It had been here recently.
He rubbed his goatee beard thoughtfully. Dragons never had a pattern. Dragons knew what they wanted to do, oh yes. But they never left obvious evidence. So why was this one charring the nature of Hyrule as though it was the sole thing there for it to destroy? No. It was searching for something. Or perhaps someone.
He continued ahead, careful not to step on any burned ground. He had to get to Lake Hylia before the dragon sucked it dry.

Adrian wandered the streets of Castle town. I can't just ask anyone... What if they know nothing of it, and I end up starting some kind of commotion? I should just scan the area and see if anyone is acting out of the ordinary.
He scratched his head and gradually looked around, not seeing anything strange, well, strange for Castle town anyway. As he searched, he found absolutely no one that looked like they had any ability to give him details on the situation. Soon enough, he began asking anyone he passed by. Most just laughed at him and walked away. "I've got no time to play games, kid." Was the most frequent response he got. He was growing more and more frustrated, and began to think about looking elsewhere.

After flying all over Hyrule, I'd never thought that anything like this could ever happen. It was like a million Dodongos had come through the plains in an angry rage.
Someone has to know something about this... Since it's right near here, I wonder if anyone in Castle Town knows about any of this, or what caused it...
I fly down and land in front of the gates to Castle Town and quietly walk into the market district, here I start searching for clues as to what caused the plains to be set alight. I talk to an old acquaintance of mine, an old professor that runs a dinky little shop on the far side of the district. Though I speak with him for some time, when I show him the note I'd acquired, he suddenly goes silent and tells me to leave and not come back, not very friendly of him, that's for sure. With no leads, I wander the streets, looking for any way that I can find out who gave me this note and why.

[I'll skip Kinsley since he's probably not going to post. If he gets skipped again, he's out of the quest. And sorry for taking so long, my browsers stopped working. That's what firewalls can do to your internet, guys. x.x]
Ic:
The people of Castle Town thought this was a game. Nothing but a rumour. But she knew better. She'd seen it burn Hyrule Field. She was here to report it to the Princess Zelda. But the guards wouldn't let her in without a summon.
She sighed, bunching her green skirts in her fists to keep the hem from trailing the dusty ground. The square was busy, but not too busy that she didn't notice the man asking for help. About the dragon. Her eyes lit up with glee. She rushed over to him.
"Er, excuse me! I might know something," she said, letting her hands relax, letting her skirts hit the ground. "You want to know about the dragon, right?"
And elsewhere in the Castle Town but not too far, a man extremely drunk stumbled out of a well-known bar. He grabbed Caramon, his anger evident from his flushed face. "Nobuhdy listens," he said in a slurred voice. "Buth I knew bettah. This thingh shahll beh the death uhf us!"
He shoved Caramon aside, screaming angrily the same thing. Eventually, a pair of guards come to get him, and throw him in the slammer to cool off for a few days.

Alistair was about to give up his search in Castle town. Most people didn't even reply, and those that did just scoffed at him. This is getting ridiculous. You would think that with all of the catastrophes happening lately, SOMEONE would listen to me. That's when he was approached by the girl.
"You want to know about the dragon, right?"
He let out a sigh of relief. "Yes. I've been looking for anyone with information on it. I heard that it's causing a lot of trouble, and I want to try and help." He was ecstatic, finally someone took him seriously. I just hope this isn't someone trying to mess with me. "So, what can you tell me about it?" He asked eagerly.

I wander into the square as I hear a mentioning of a dragon and see what seems to be a very young couple speaking of it, so I sit down next to the fountain to hear what is being said about the creature without letting them see me near them.

She looked around, then led him to the fountain and sat them down. "Well," she began, "I don't know too much about the dragon itself, but I do know it burned Hyrule Field to a giant piece of charcoal. I saw it fly over my house without actually touching anyone in my village, two days ago. It was headed in the direction of Gerudo Desert. On my way here, I saw someone going in the same direction. I didn't really pay him any mind, but from his hesitation at seeing the burnt fields, he's probably got some business with him."
She paused, waiting for the information to sink in. Then, seconds later, she continued. "So if you want to know anything more about this, you should follow him, or at least go to Lake Hylia. Someone there is bound to know more. If you want to truly help, track the thing down and kill it before it does more damage and kills anyone else."
She pats his leg. "That's about all I know, but at least now you know where to go, right?" She offered a warm smile, and then gets up to leave.

Alistair listened carefully up until the second the girl started walking away. He then immediately stood up and waved his arms about, shouting. "Don't worry! I'll kill the dragon for you, dear damsel! Then you and your family can be safe once again~!" After securing his spot in that maiden's heart, obviously, he checked himself, making sure he had everything necessary. Following the girl's advice, he promptly set off for Lake Hylia. Just you wait, I'll track down this mysterious man and kill the dragon. I'll be famous~

I stand and decide it best to walk to Lake Hylia, as flying now would probably draw too much attention to myself at the moment. On my way, I talk to myself to pass the time.
Lake Hylia...? It looks like I'm going there again... Seems to me everything that happens to me has to happen at Lake Hylia... Oh well, it's too late to turn back now, I'm already here.
