As the blade came down, the Monster knew he had one, and only one trick left up his sleeve. Reaching forth with both hands, he grabbed the sword as it came down, slowing its progress. Ultimately, he was able to stop it from penetrating the heart, but it did break skin. Pushing it back with all his strength, he lifted himself back onto his feet, stumbling with vision blurred from the blood loss which now cloaked the once green grass with hues of crimson dew.
Dying, he immediately sent himself into a rage, focussing the pain and elements of the fight. A red aura surrounded him, and he lifted Abyssion with ease. Slashing the blade forth, a blast of red energy rippled across the ground, heading for Alistair. If it hit, it would do Heavy damage against the boy.

What the hell is that?! Alistair tried to avoid the attack, but his efforts were futile. Before he knew it, he was on his back after spiraling through the air. Without hesitation, he picked his sword up and climbed to his feet. He felt fatigued, and the urge to end this as soon as possible became more of a need to do so.
"Well, you tried your best. I guess I won't feel so bad about this after all." Soon enough, light red, almost pink energy began rising off of Alistair. He closed his eyes for a second before reopening them, a serious expression painted across his face. After a moment had passed by, he dashed as fast as he could, which was now faster than previously possible, and attempted to slash at the beast's stomach as he darted by.

As the boy began to run forth, the Monster had not prepared for the speed in which he would do so, and thus lifted Abyssion above his head, to strike down and sever the boys head. It was all but a failed attempt though, and the Monster realized this almost immediately.
Alistair slash directly through the Beasts body, passing from the spinal cord to his flank with ease. Standing motionless for a few minutes, blood violently spilled from the Monsters mouth, and he dropped to his knee's, impaired and essentially dead. The slash was fatal, finishing the monster off. Dropping Abyssion, it fell into the grass and the Monster's life passed from his body. The battle had been won.
[Requested Reward: Standard Rupees reward, and/or Abyssion, the red longsword that glows when Monsters are near. ]

Alistair prematurely dispelled his Trance and looked over at the monster. He stabbed his sword into the ground, put his hands on his knees, and let out a sigh of relief. After a short moment of relaxation, he picked his blade back up, wiped off the blood, and sheathed it. Time to go report this to the guild, I suppose. He walked over to the carcass of the beast and picked up Abyssion. "I'm sure that presenting this will be more than enough proof of the monster's demise."
