Nighttime at Lake Hylia, and Nightmare was sitting over the edge of a cliff.
As he gazed out into the water, unsettling memories flashed within his mind, memories of a once mighty water leviation. A great beast made of water, with orbs in its head. It took, ironically, fire to kill the thing. Fire and explosions, and just like that, the water monster had been destroyed, and the lake had been saved. Ever since then though, Nightmare had developed an intense dislike for water monsters, and vehemently stood against them. God help whoever decided that it would be best to have a water elemental around.
Nevertheless, he tried to enjoy the peace and quiet, wondering just what else would happen at the lake. From what he had heard, someone had caused a bit of a ruckus here. A sorceress by the name of Veran. Word traveled fast and the empire had means of acquiring information. Not only that, but he had a key. The empire had plenty of records. There was no doubt that one of the records, or one of the previous emperors would actually know who these people were. He was certain he would be able to dig up something on Vaati. He had power, he'd admit it, and he also had an ego, there was no way he would've stayed underground, the empire had to have information.
Nevertheless, he kept planning a counterattack.

Well, isn't this a pretty setting, mused Midna.
Not long before she made her cross over from the Twilight Realm, and into this one did she make her first stop into Lake Hylia. She only took notice of the passage of time between crossing over by the time she realized dusk had closed it's wounds, and the blood red skies soon enough blackened. The night proved to be much easier on her twilit eyes if only since it was but a pale shade of the vile sun that burned her so. Her long lashes fluttering a couple of times as she took in the tranquility the silence she was listening to.
How boring!
The subtle darkness that engulfed the surface of the lake reminded Midna on how different this world was. Nothing here provided any assurance of home, but she had to put her errant nostalgia away for the sake of attaining the things she needed. Top of the priority lists went as followed: Information, obtaining the rest of the Fused Shadow pieces from whoever took them from their original resting place, and meeting this Princess Zelda.
Information would probably come first out of all of them because one had to know in order to figure out where to go from there. When she had an exact idea of how to go about her plans then the rest would follow right behind. Nothing else mattered - the means to getting what she wanted, or how it was going to happen~ Those will go as she moved.
"Eh?" she quirked her lone impish eye out of the corner of her eye, noticing a lone figure up on top of a cliff of the lake.
A wicked fanged grin escaped from her mouth. Her movement was as quiet as a mouse hovering off the ground as she carefully snuck up on the lone male. Mischief was in her intentions. After all, you don't go near the edge unless you're willing to risk the fact of falling off of it~
"Don't let your guard down," she warned vaguely, "Things do tend to go bump in the night, you know."
With that said, she waved her arm, and a force was exerted, giving a good push against the male's back. Should her ploy work, she would send him down, falling into the watery realm in a matter of seconds. Thus she waited for the satisfying splash of her efforts~

Bump in the night?
Nightmare had only been snapped out of his thoughts at her words. Immediately, he turned around, catching a glimpse of the woman before he felt a strong force. Taking in her features, his eyes narrowed as he found himself falling off the cliff? Was this some sort of assassination attempt? Or was it a playful prank? It didn't matter, he was falling, and heading towards the darkness of the lake, he had to act fast.
Thankfully, he had a way out. A branch on the way down. Reaching out, his hand seized the branch, stopping his fall as he hung over the waters. Swinging himself just a little, he flipped himself up onto the top of the branch, balancing himself in order to keep himself from falling, Nightmare felt triumphant. He grinned up at Midna, as if mocking her for thinking something like that would actually work on him.
"Didn't plan things through, did you?" He taunted.
And then the branch broke.
Swearing loudly, Nightmare plummeted into the depths below with a large splash that would undoubtedly delight the Twilight Princess. He remained under the water for several seconds before he finally surfaced, taking a rather large breath of air. Immediately, the urge to transform sparked, just to show the woman she was bullying a dragon and maybe give her a good scare. Then again, revealing his true form would undoubtedly draw attention, so he held back the urge for now. Plus, it would be humiliating to just go all out in a simple moment of anger. As he grumbled, he started to swim towards the shore, wondering just who, or what the hell that woman was, and why she decided to throw him in. He had to admit though, he would be lying if he said that he wouldn't have done the exact same thing had the roles been reversed.

That didn't go exactly as she wanted it to. Midna's crimson eyes narrowed as she watched him fall, but miraculously saved himself by a lone limb of a branch. What where the odds of that happening? Jackass got off lucky, she supposed. She rolled her eyes haughtily before crossing her arms over her chest. So much for the satisfying splash~
Just as soon as he opened his mouth, it was as if karma came creeping up from the crack of the corner just to screw him over.
Midna's frown instantly went upside down. The splash that she ever so desired came ringing like music to her twili ears, loud, and crisp. That was priceless! She couldn't help but roar with laughter, keeling over holding onto her sides from the ache that riled up from her laughter. Tears tempted to fall from her joy on such a glorious prank well-played. Staring down at the lake, she grinned evily, calming down as her scarlet orbs scanned the area where the ripples began to fade. It didn't take long for the washed up hothead to come out from under the water, and show his quenched face.
He looked quite humiliated, and over all angry~ Wonderful.
Nothing like tampering with unsuspecting victims. Was she going to leave him alone now? Hell no! When you pulled a prank on someone, it wasn't required, but it sure felt good to rub it in their face. She whistled loudly grabbing his attention from up on the cliff where he was thrown off. Her grin plastered on her face mocking his washed up form.
"Problem?" she teased.

He could hear the whistle as she called his attention to her, just wondering what else she could want after her little show. He felt his anger boil just a little as she decided to rub it in. Well, if nothing else, he could deny her the thrill of gloating. He held up his hand to his ear, indicating that he simply couldn't hear what she was saying, make her work for it a little. "Sorry, I've got water in my ears, what did you say?" He shrugged at the Twilight Princess. He was going to deny her at least this small victory, make himself feel better about the situation.
As he started to climb up, it didn't take long before he was back at the cliff, finally getting a full, good look at his assailant. A floating imp? That was it? "... You would think someone trying to kill me would at least be a little more... intimidating than an imp." He raised an eyebrow, clearly a little confused that it was an imp doing all of this. He rolled his eyes, as if he was expecting something else, something a bit different. Maybe something more terrifying.
"And taller."

"That isn't the only place you've got water," she shot back. A snicker escaped her lips as her carmine eyes danced with amusement at Nightmare's apparent anger. The rage that seethe in his eyes was absolutely delectable. Bitter at first, but satisfyingly sweet knowing that his eyes were on her, and her alone. It would seem that the male would not let her have her glorious gloating spree. What a spoil sport~
"Kill you?" she quirked, "Now would I want to kill you? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're nothing special~" Her voice was coated with a false sense of sympathy just to grate on his nerves. She scoffed at his comment about someone ambushing him being more intimidating, and taller. She grinned mischievously.
"Please~ You wouldn't know how to handle a woman like me," she taunted placing her hands on her hips. "If I wanted, I'd have you already down on your knees, but I'm letting you off easy with just a prank. It was all in good sport, after all."

Nightmare smirked. In a way, he felt his drive coming back. Girl really thought she could win a trolling fight with Nightmare Darklight? He definitely wouldn't let her win the war, he would turn the whole thing back on her and just show who the real troll was in this! You'll see! "Not trying to kill me?" he remarked, his smirk turning into a grin as he looked her in the eye. "I don't think you realize this, but there's a 0.0000000000000000000675% chance that you can kill someone with a glare." He remarked, employing the logic that was insane troll logic. The kind that could catch most people off guard.
"Now, I think throwing someone off a cliff is more deadly than that. Guess what that means?" He shrugged and shook his head. He had his head back in the game, the battle between the trolls of the realm was on! "And as for your little comment? There's nothing you could do, in this world or the next, that would force me to bow before you. You're welcome to try though." He challenged her. He challenged her authority. She told him he was nothing special? That he couldn't handle a woman like her? Well, she clearly didn't have a clue in the world just who she was trying to handle. He refused to bow before this woman, he wouldn't be beaten so easily.

Did she smell a bit of persistence in him? Good. It was never any fun if her playmates gave up on her so soon. That look of arrogance was enough to convince her he was worth breaking in. After all, the thicker their head, the more satisfying it was to shattering them to bits and pieces. She hoped he would not disappoint, because when she made her move, there was no going back on them. Nightmare better be ready because when anyone gazed upon the Twilight Princess it was a sure sign that their world will be turned upside down.
"I'm not the one covered from head to toe in lake water," she rubbed her nose. His logic was irrelevant, and proved no point whatsoever. What was he getting at really? Her tiny limbs rested upon her head slightly as she let out an obnoxious yawn. Her lone eye flickering with amusement. "Oh, come on now~ A little water isn't going to hurt anybody. Besides having already known you would meet a watery spectacle, I found the prank to be most suiting for you. You should consider it an honor it was just water, and not, let's say a pit of snakes. Hm?"
Basically, what she was saying was, he was nothing short of a victim of the girl's prank. Nothing more. Nothing less. However if he wanted to prove that he was worth a damn then he might as well try, because it was going to be so much fun to rip that stupid grin off of his face. "Is that so? You're pretty confident in yourself, aren't you? Wonderful," she cackled, "You've either got a lot of guts, or down right stupid to be taking on what you don't know is right in front of you."

Nightmare just casually listened as she went off. "The difference between us is I'm not the one needing the bath." Nightmare shot back with a smirk. He relaxed as she started to go on, remarking that a little water wouldn't hurt him, which he felt was something he could also jump on. "What if I couldn't swim?" He shrugged again, expecting her to have to come up with an explanation for that one. No doubt he would find that enjoyable. He had to admit, this was somewhat fun. He rarely had anyone who had the wit to actually keep up with him, and so far, she hadn't had any trouble doing so.
In a way, it felt exhilerating.
As she started cackling, he unsheathed Silversnake. Not to harm the imp or anything, as that wasn't even his plan. Rather than make an offensive maneuver, he just angled Silversnake so the moonlight would reflect off of the blade. With her next set of words, there would be a reflection of the imp on the blade, as if Night was dropping a rather strong hint. Throughout all of this, Nightmare just gave Midna a rather deadpan stare, as to him, she was the pot calling the kettle black in this situation.

"Your attitude still stinks," she said, gesturing her hand across her nose as if repulsed by having him around her. He wasn't the only one who could ham up an act. Midna could put up a stunning performance if she really wanted to put her mind into it. She shrugged her shoulders before shaking her head at his question. "Then that would be a personal problem now, wouldn't it? You'd better have plenty of buoyancy, or it's sink or swim, baby," she joked darkly.
Her lone eye disclosed flickered as he took out his sword. Her smirk remained as she watched quietly in place curious as to what will his next move be. Would be try to strike her down? She wouldn't be surprised if he attempted to get some sort of vengeance from her prank, but she saw it futile for the most part. He couldn't her down even if he wanted to. However her facade was dropped for a moment realizing his ploy, and waved her hand, exerting a small force in an attempt to divert the light of the moon away from the sword. Or at least knock it out of her direction.
She wasn't quick enough to reach it in time as a beam of light grazed the palm of her hand. A wave of burn shot through her hand leaving behind a burn as if she had been playing with matches. She balled up her hand into a fist to cover the wounds from being displayed. Her pained expression covered up for the most part thanks to her helmet~ Nothing serious but a factor was dropped out in the open then and there. "It's very rude to stare, you know," she hissed, "Perhaps it can't be helped if one wishes to further accede to my beauty, I suppose. You have no manners!"

"If my attitude stinks then that can't be a good sign for you either, as we are similar." Nightmare casually pointed out to the imp. He had to admit, the fact that they were able to hold their own in a trolling contest did give him the idea of similarities. Though he wouldn't admit it outright, he was starting to enjoy the imp's company, as it gave him something to do and someone who wouldn't get pissed off the moment he started to get the upper hand. At least he hoped.
Sheathing Silversnake, he held his arms out in front of him as his fingers laced together, stretching a bit with a slight groan. "Well, technically it's not 'or' so much as it's constantly sink or swim when it comes to Lake Hylia." He couldn't help but correct her, if just to take another shot at the imp. Here in Hyrule, he was the supertroll. Thing is, he didn't know she was from the Twilight Realm. If so, would that mean she was the supertroll of her own realm as well?
His arms went limp back down to his side as he rotated his neck, as if trying to take care of a few kinks here and there. Finally, he gave a slight smirk at the princess. He had picked up on her tone, the subtle hissing within, and then how she accused him of staring. "You mad?" He inquired, "'Cause you're grasping at straws here." He couldn't help but feel that in a way, he had the upper hand now.

Similar? Her lips curled into a smile at the notion. Indeed, they did share some similarities which was, if anything, a pleasant thought to contemplate. She would admit that since her arrival in the Light Realm, she was quite surprise she wasn't met with any oppression as of yet. She didn't consider this encounter oppressive by any means - she would have to say that it was more along the lines of one hell of an abrasive first impression. Although the two of them engaged in a good trolling contest told the Sovereign indirectly that he was enjoying her company otherwise. "It can't be helped, I suppose," she shrugged, "Beasts are drawn to one another after all~"
She trusted that he was smart enough to figure that one out.
An eyebrow quirked as he corrected her statement. One minute he lays fire burning up for Midna to draw herself near to, and suddenly, he breaks ice all over the sparks. She had to roll her eyes at the mention of the lake's name. "Lake Hylia?" she said, "Sounds like the name of some senile old woman~" Seriously, where did Hyrule get off with naming their locations? Everything sounded so old fashioned. Then again she had to admit that her own realm wasn't that creatively named for the most part. Midna wasn't exactly a troll, per se~ Rather a mischief maker at best. It was always fun to get a look at people's reactions when they've been had, and how they behave afterwards. Out of all of the pranks she's pulled in the past, she must admit that playing with Night was certainly a change of pace.
He stood his ground defiantly against the imp, and took up the plate of challenging her.
"Not at all," she crossed her arms, "As a matter of fact, I'm quite flattered how you've taken a liking to me~ Straws are strong enough for me. I'm light as a feather." Quite an overstatement. To help put emphasis on the light remark, she floated to and fro. Didn't he feel all superior at the moment~ If only she had time to play more, but the sands of time were moving down the hourglass, and she couldn't afford to waste time with leisurely past times. An idea struck her, and perhaps this man could be of use to the princess.
"Tell me~ Have you noticed strange occurrences happening or any anomalies in Hyrule as of lately?" she inquired; she quickly added, "Besides me. I already know I'm out of this world."

Truth be told, Nightmare was actually a little confused on the beast comment. Maybe she knew he wasn't human? If such was the case, did she even know he was the Emperor? He stil felt somewhat proud of his position. Hyrule was a nation divided up into many cultures and states. However, he and Zelda controlled the two hyperpowers of the land. Regardless, he'd at least have fun with her. "I think I'm more the beauty than the beast. Though you tend to lean more towards Gaston~"
He really didn't respond to her insulting Lake Hylia. He wasn't the one who named it, so why should he care what she thought of it? But, her being light, there was something he could actually work with. "Yeah, I'd imagine, what with your skull being full of helium and all." He grinned. This was just too much fun, it was a shame that it had to end so soon. It seemed she wanted answers, or at least knew something that was going on.
He brought his hand to his chin. "Now that you mention it..." He mused for a moment. "Well, aside from Zelda's knights being useless, as that's nothing new, they've always been shit, there is one thing." He nodded in confirmation, there really was something going on here, maybe he had something that he could work with. "A wind mage named Vaati grabbed some kind of treasure and made off with it. Thankfully we were able to force his hand early, but that's not all."
Nightmare looked at Midna, now wondering if she was working with them. If she was a spy or if she was one of them. "Since then, there have been others reported. A woman named Veran, a giant with a ball and chain named Onox, and two more young sorceresses with swords named Twinrova. All immediately followed by a series of natural disasters." The Empire was massive, its members lurking in all places of Hyrule. Word spread fast, and while few in Hyrule might have known, he had received word from his subjects. But everyone knew about the disasters, he heard about them wherever he went.

"And whose the narcissist here?" she asked sarcastically. There was the brightest glimmer in her deviant carmine eyes when he went on about being the beauty rather than a beast. If he only knew just how wrong he was, and that he could not hold a candle in comparison to the Twilight Princess whatsoever. Though with her current form, it was perfectly understandable why he would reference her as the antagonist of a notable fairy tale.
An imp wasn't exactly what you would call the most attractive thing to see, especially when it was floating in right in front of you, haughtily proclaiming itself as a beautiful woman. The thought of changing danced within her mind for a moment or two, but it was quickly brushed aside. There was no need to revert back to her original form now when she had no reason to grace him with her natural form.
"Jokes on you, I watch what I eat," she shot back, "I would die if I was going around shamelessly in a suit trying to cover up that access muffin top~" Yes, she just called the Monster Emperor fat. She really wish she had more time to play with him. She could go on for hours with this! Though playtime had to be concluded for the evening, and it was time to get down to the actual reason behind coming to Lake Hylia. Apparently, someone had a knack for bashing just about everyone, because there was not a single positive thing the man said about the ruler or her knights.
Midna listened carefully making a mental list of all the names Night mentioned in that single sitting. Could these group of people be potential perpetrators behind taking her Fused Shadow? She poked her cheek slightly as she speculated the possibility. Only way to find out was to ask, and perhaps this would be a possible lead for her to attain the rest of her items back. She had to admit Nightmare did have quite a bit of knowledge for someone she just met. Midna came to conclusion that he has access somehow to these kinds of things somehow. Quite handy for a foreigner~
"What kind of treasure did this Vaati character make off with?" she pried. The list of questions she wanted to ask, but she had to watch what she said unless she wished to make this man an enemy.

It seemed play time was over, now she was asking questions as to what was going on. Well, he wasn't sure whether she was an ally or not. Or if it turned that she was in fact an enemy working for Vaati. If this was the case, he would be careful. He'd tell her what happened, but he wouldn't speak of how he knew about the other villains causing trouble. There was no need for him to compromise anything. As for her question about what Vaati took well... "A hat. I am not kidding." Nightmare clarified, believing she would find it hard to believe that of all the mayhem caused, Vaati did it all for some friggin' hat.
Though he hated that night. He hated to think about it. Not because he felt he failed. Hell, if anything, he wrote that off as a win. Yeah, the bad guy got what they were looking for, but ultimately, the entire group had managed to force his hand early. Though, they probably could've done it earlier if it weren't for Hadrian. That old knight ended up causing them so much trouble, he was actually starting to wonder if he was working with the villains. "That night infuriates me though. Simply because one of the people 'helping' was one of Zelda's knight captains. And yet despite this, he just made things so much worse." He growled.
However, Nightmare collected himself, and presented the scenario to Midna. "Ok, imagine this; you're fighting Vaati, trying to keep him from getting what he wants, and a dragon shows up and breathes fire at the little bastard. Now Vaati's only like five feet tall, so the dragon has a huge height advantage, so the fire would hit the ground." He hated the knight, not even due to a personal reason. Hadrian never personally wronged Night himself. It was just that the knight was just so bloody incompetent that everyone would be better off without him. "Now imagine that said captain, 'BRAVE SIR HADRIAN', dives in and tosses up a shield between the two, not only saving Vaati, but causing the fire to fork and head straight into the village." He finished, curious as to what Midna would make of the scenario.

Disappointment didn't even begin to describe the feeling Midna got when he answered. Perhaps these villains had no affiliations whatsoever with those who took the Fused Shadow... Was Midna interrogating the wrong people or something? She had no idea what she was doing wrong, but she could only guess that it meant her journey would continue onwards from there. She was actually surprise Nightmare didn't pry into her motives to be honest. Then again, maybe it was best that he didn't, or maybe he didn't care~ Still, she had to admit that hearing Vaati create a shipping fuss over a hat - of all things - was quite a sorry story. "You don't say..." she murmured through stifled giggles.
Oh, it only got better~ As a matter of fact, Night went into explicit details (which was hilariously contradicting his behavior of not wanting to bring up in the first place) over what went down that fateful occasion. The blond's expression was quite entertaining to watch, the colors that permeated from his frustrations, explaining the blunder of another. Midna couldn't help but notice where a contributing factor came into play as for why Nightmare didn't seem to like Hylians all that much. "Pfftt..." she giggle snorted.
Goddesses, it was too rich to hold in. Midna had a hard time keeping a straight face. Did that really happen or was he pulling her leg? It really was hard to believe, but the frustration coloring his voice convinced her otherwise that he wasn't joking. It only made the story absolutely hilarious! She busted out laughing when he finished. "Can we say obscured sense of priority much?" she cracked up between her laughter. She gasped softly before calming down, but her sides were aching for a bit afterwards. It was totally worth it. "Honestly, aren't knights suppose to be 'protecting the innocent' or some kind of junk like that~?"
She had to laugh it off otherwise she'd be seething in disappointment.

"Bingo." Nightmare confirmed her words with a snap of his fingers. "They're supposed to anyway. But the knights around here really only come in two flavors. The first is the cowardly knight that just runs away at the sight of danger. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Then, you get the kind like Hadrian. They think they're hot shit, the savior of the world, the only hope for everyone... and then they make everything worse." Nightmare rubbed the bridge of his nose. The Hylian Knights could be absolutely infuriating, and to think it was his race that ended up getting all the flak. Meanwhile, everyone considered the Hylian Knights to be heroic beings. Although he had to admit, he was rather enjoying his chance to vent. He abhorred the Hylian Knights, simply because they were either corrupt or inept. Yes, there were some knights out there who showed some real valor, and showed that they could be heroic. He rather liked Rwaht. Granted, he was a hybrid, and in a way, technically not a knight, but he was close enough that Nightmare felt comfortable lumping them into the group. He'd hand it to Aerith, she had found someone worthwhile. He blinked for a moment, realizing he had never really gotten the imp's name, if she even had one. "So who are you anyway?" His gaze narrowed. He had never really ran into an imp before. He managed an entire empire, defeated countless opponents, and had the capacity to change the course of the world, and throughout all of that, he had never once met an imp. Now that he thought about it, this could technically count as a first for him. His arms crossed, and in truth, he felt that she would either give him the runaround, or at least give him a name. Not that it would matter, as long as he didn't get damaged or hurt throughout the whole thing, he really didn't mind.

What a colorful character, she mused. Even when venting she noticed an outstandingly vivacious charisma about him that she found quite entertaining. A proud but well-rounded company to say the least, he hasn't proven himself anything less than an interesting encounter. Unfortunately, she hasn't seen much action with the Hylian Knights in order to voice any opinion on their credibility, but Nightmare's opinion would not go ignored. Midna made it certain that next time she traveled she'd keep an eye out for them knights, and see just what Zelda's warriors were capable of.
In the mean time, she would entertain herself in the Emperor's presence a little while longer. The time spent just getting to know one another went by so fast~ It wasn't up until now that the blond came to realizing he never got a name. "Took you long enough to ask," she teased, "You may call me Midna."
A thought danced within the back of her mind. She was quite curious for the most part on how often this man opened up to strangers. Probably not a lot. What, with being a troll, and carrying an attitude like the way he does, she could imagine he's pissed off many people in his lifetime. "And what may I call you?" she asked in return.

Midna? Nightmare raised an eyebrow. It was a unique name. It had similarities with Zelda, but he had never heard anything quite like Midna. Nightmare smirked, then grinned, then let out an amused laugh. Well, it seemed that in the end, he would be the one with the victory then. "Midna then. I have to admit, I like it. I'll be sure to keep it in memory." He gave her a triumphant look. For all her ability to keep up with him, there was one thing that he could at least get her on. Not that he thought this was a one time meeting. With the way this had gone, he had enjoyed her company too much to really just let this be a one time thing. "As for my name, well, people know me as Nightmare Darklight." He introduced himself. It was true, he never used his actual name. And that was where he would strike his little win. He introduced himself as what everyone knew him as, and what he went by. He never said anything about having to use their real name. However, that didn't mean he wouldn't give her a way to get his real name. Maybe an incentive of sorts. "Of course, if we get to know each other more, I might just tell you what my real name is~" He tried to tempt the princess. He had to admit, he was finding her to be a rather fascinating person to talk to.

There was nothing wrong with letting him entertain himself with thinking he was important for the time being. Honestly, where do men get off thinking they're hot stuff? Midna was not entirely impressed with his attitude, but for the most part what he lacked in his behavior he made up with his personality. Now how did this differentiate from one another? The way you act didn't personify your whole self entirely. Midna knew this concept quite well~ If she did say so herself, she was quite good at following such concepts to a tee. "Why~ That has to be the sweetest thing you've said all night," she giggled.
For some reason when she recieved a name in return, she had to be honest with herself, and think, where the hell did that name spawn from? Just fathoming the name he went by brought a disturbance in the force. A grin formed upon her impish lips as she listened to his inquisition. Something to bring her back, if anything to visit him again, somewhere, sometime in the future. Nightmare proven himself otherwise that he was quite helpful - if only a little with providing what information he had. Nonetheless anything she could get her hands on for the time being was nice.
"How about you tell me your real name when I become a beautiful princess that you'll fall helplessly in love with?" she joked around. He thought he had an ace up his sleeve, but Midna had a bag of tricks herself. Secrets that perhaps one day may be disclosed, but for now, the game of wits was surely a wonderful leisure.
