PERSONALITY,
At first glance, Ryan seems to be a lazy, easygoing individual. Spend enough time with him however, and you might notice something... odd... about him. Foremost is that he can alternate between nihilistic apathy and show distain for even the most revered of things, or zen-like optimism and dispense sage advice and support at the drop of a hat. Indeed many people would guess (and correctly so) that he simply adjusts his attitude to whatever he feels would suit him best.
At the same time however he is very aware of what other people think and feel and will react accordingly to the situation as needed. Ideally he prefers a non-hostile, non-confontational environment. He can be vary snarky and sarcastic if provoked, often outright mocking the individual who is trying to take things too seriously or just a prick.
In open combat however, he changes drastically. Gone is the lethargy and inactivity, and in its place is a cold, calculating mind. Utterly professional and clinical in his methodology in dealing with attackers, it would seem he has a split personality. This is not the case however, as it is simply a literal lifetime of combat training taking over. People who underestimate him usually end up dead, or worse.
APPEARANCE,
Sexier than you
More stylish as well
Standing at six nine, with Red hair and blue eyes, Ryan is definitely attractive by most standards. He has an athletic if slightly muscular body that is usually hunched over due to his hight and a dislike of looking down at everyone all the time, hiding his true hight.
As a rule his hair is usually somewhere between well kept and messy. The majority of it us combed and straightened as needed but he'll rarely go out of his way to fix something if it gets blown out of place, giving him a vaguely scruffy appearance to those who care about hair like that.
As an outdoorsmen his skin has been tanned significantly, but not yet to the point where it would be truly "brown." It has some markings and scars here and there from various scrapes with a brigand or monster, including a particularly gruesome scar that runs down the length of his back.
WEAPONS,
Gram, a longsword with a four food blade and a "C" shaped guard used for disarming. The Leather hilt provides and fantastic grip, and the pommel can strike hard enough to crack skulls.
Ullr, a Repeating Crossbow that care be fired twenty times before requiring a reloading. With more range, stopping power and accuracy than a longbow, it is a terrifying weapon to behold.
Gungnir, a Halberd-like spear, rarely carried with him unless going into a siege situation against giant monsters.
ITEMS,
Megingjoro, a suit of armor crafted out of the hides of Dodongos. Sturdy as plate while light as leather, the armor enables him to resist a full point of damage with a two post cooldown.
In his backpack, Ryan carries:
Survival Knife Pencil and paper (notes, map drawing, fire kindling) Rope (shelter building, snares) Alchemical torch (fire starting) Fishing line and hooks (fishing, hanging food to dry) Compass Waterproof blanket (warmth, poncho, water catcher) Tarp (shelter making, makeshift camoflage) Food/Water
ABILITIES,
Saving for Later. (Two unused slots)
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Saving for Later (one unused slot)
HISTORY,
Ryan was born to Hector and Linda Von Green, both of whom have spent their lives in service to the country. His childhood was spent much like other children, being formally educated and taught proper standards of behavior and grooming. They also taught him some basic combat arts as a way to bond as a family, although much to his horror and disgust, sparring matches between his parents usually ended up with them in the bedroom. Still, he couldn't complain, it was a good life and he had little for want or need.
When he came of age, he decided to join the military himself. It was the natural choice really, given his family lineage of military service (stretching back to his great grandfather, actually). Upon completing basic training he was assigned the role of squad leader for his group. They had many an adventure during their time together, some of which will be referenced during Role Play.
Upon completing his term of duty, Ryan became freelance to help out where he was most needed. There were all kinds of badness out there that the usual law enforcement either didn't know about or turned a blind eye to, and he HAD sworn an Oath upon recruitment to serve and protect the nation after all. He maintained close contact with his old buddies however, as well as a long list of other contacts he had made. You never know when something like that'll come in handy.

Just a few minor things. First you state ranges in feet, but we don't necessarily deal like that. What I would recommend is making the bomb affect anyone within range of the target. As for the Deku Nuts, there's a bit of an error when it comes to semantics. It gives you an extra action slot (which I also need to address shortly) but it affects people within a range. What happens when someone who wasn't affected by the flashbang comes within range? You need to clarify the ability some more.
Furthermore an entire extra action slot for three posts is actually pretty powerful. I would advise drawing the duration down a post or specify that it's simply an extra manoeuvre slot much like the Oocca have.

Removed them until I figure out a good way to work with area effects within this system, added some armor in.

A full point of damage passively is quite a bit. Actually most passive defenses are a bit overpowered. I would recommend making it active, or allow it to cancel one level of damage when activated with a brief cooldown thereafter. Two posts for one level would be fair.

Well, if you're leaving everything else out 'til later... then I guess that we can add approval on top of Vio's.
2/3 Approved!

I just want to let you know, we haven't forgotten you or anything, its simply policy to wait for the other two Staff members who have replied to this thread, Ryst and Rwaht, who haven't given their "all clear" yet.
I'll bug them for you, no worries lol
