Ein's feet, at first, were kind of cold, but eventually, they had settled, and now the water was as comfortably warm as a bath. He used to bathe with his older sister.. it was annoying, kind of, how she always made sure for him to use soap and shampoo and never miss a spot, but she was just.. her, Ein supposed.
He bought a fishing rod with the rather large amount of salary he saved up as a small treat. He used to go fishing with her as well, though, he caught a lot more than she did. Ein chuckled at the thought. Shaking slightly, his thin, white hair shook in both his trembling laughter and the gales of the breeze. Ein calmed himself and ran a finger through it.

[/img] He wouldn't cry.. If she hated anything more, it was when he cried. Sometimes she would cry with him. "J-jeez.. what am I thinking about all of a sudden.."He finished wiping his face of sweat and returned to his fishing. The valley of Lake Hylia was vast and very suitable for recreational events like these. The fish were very meek today, as Ein noticed. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

It would appear that Echo would run into one colourful character after another in this legendary body of water, only this time it's a face that she can remember. Standing there with a large rod in his hands, his back to her and his mind far from where he is standing at the moment, is the child that goes by the name of Ein. Echo's eyes close lightly as a silent sigh escapes her lips, she didn't know what she did to the world now to have this chance encounter with such a little brat once more! Possibly, just maybe, she could sneak past him without the other noticing her!
Floating through space like a ghost, she quietly moves across from him to try and disappear into the distance. If she could be, right now, she'd be tip-toeing like no other person; it would appear as if her espionage-esque fashion would really come through for her! Suddenly, of course, without warning a sneeze escapes from her throat! What? WHAT? That's exactly what Echo is thinking, she didn't even think she could sneeze! SHE DOESN'T EVEN BREATHE ANYMORE, WHAT THE H? Balling her hands up into fists, her entire form shooting up straight, she braces for the moment that the child will turn around and see her there not even a few feet away from him.

His eye didn't light up, but it tingled and sent the signal to Ein's brain. As if he had eyes on the back of his head, he could clearly see Echo Faust the Poe standing a few feet away from him.
"My, I wonder what that noise just now was?" he said in a playfully seductive manner, "A rabbit or mouse running by? The breeze rustling some grass?"
Setting his fishing rod between his legs he scratched his messy white hair and contemplated in mock sense of hard thinking,
"Or, it could have been.. no.. the sneeze of a Poe?"

Ein turned around a beamed. Just the sight of her made him happy, no matter how dark or illuminating she appeared to others, to Ein, it just increased her beauty factor.
"Hello again, Miss Faust."

Our ghastly friend didn't enjoy one bit that her cover was blown, nor did she enjoy the other's smug reaction to it; she found it rather unsettling that without even having to turn around and see who it was that the boy already knew who exactly it was behind him. How did this little one know what her sneezes sound like? Has he been stalking her!? What a creep.
Slowly, with a very bitter look on her face, she turns around to meet the other's face with her own. "Ein," she replies with simply, her eyes rolling as she speaks his name. Floating there with her hands limp at her sides, she takes a look around the area once over before looking at the rod he had placed between his legs. Oh, how she was hoping for a fish to suddenly tug on it so hard that he loses his grip on it and ultimately his fishing rod. Echo could be so cruel sometimes, wishing such ill thoughts on another. "I see you're here fishing, or something. That sounds like a lot of fun to me," she spoke in a rather bored way, "or something." She almost found herself looking up at the sky, as if to ask whatever powers that be what damned her of a life of running into such annoying individuals!

Ein cast a lonely, distant eye over the quiet and mysteriously still level of Lake Hylia.
"...I guess, yeah..."
The child suddenly didn't feel as high-spirited. It felt really nice to be back with someone he knew, but.. with every breath he took, with every beat his heart pounded with, it all felt like a giant timer that ended with his eventual death. He passed over the fishing rod to his right hand and stared bleakly at his left. It looked as red and chalky as ever.. It just didn't seem possible that something this still and, well, harmless, was causing him harm, with every second he lived at the present. It was slowly infecting him- eventually it would take over his body, and he would become a pawn of the demon that attacked his town when he was 5..
"..How've you been?"

Echo wasn't the most perceptive person on the planet, but she could tell that there was something wrong with this child. She could sit there and throw one guess after another for herself to think about, but she thought being curious about it would just be a waste of time on her part. The boy is just a child, anything at all could be bothering him; even though he didn't much act or look like a little boy, surely he had problems like one. For all she could know, he probably just wanted this stuff animal he couldn't have or something.
Floating over to him, over to the lake she's all too familiar with at this point, Echo laces her fingers behind her back as she looks off into the distance of the great span of the body of water in front of the two of them. Feeling envious of the male to her right, that he could do something as lame as fishing, she shook her head to get rid of a light smirk that had made it's way onto her lips. "Dead," she speaks in a blunt and sarcastic sort of way, rolling her eyes. "Otherwise, you know, I've been the same as I've always been." Echo didn't bother looking at Ein as she spoke, she just kept her eyes over the length of the lake, wishing to anything and everything that their could be that she could go swimming just one more time.
