My computer recently contracted a virus that caused it to blue screen and shut off upon turning it on. I was able to somehow fix it where my brother and sister had failed. I don't know if it'll happen again soon, so if I vanish for a long period of time without saying anything else, then assume something happened to my computer.

I'd recommended getting a virus protection program if you don't have one already. AVG works great, and you can get a 30 day trial. Once the trial is up you can just download it again and again.
