"Cowboy! Where you at?!" Miff yelled angrily into the forest. The Deku's search for his Zora companion had taken him all the way into the Sacred Grove. The angry voice of the Mad Scrub, as well as a few precisely-aimed Deku Nuts, had kept the curious local Fairies and Kokiri at bay so he could search in peace. Well, peace if one excluded the talkative chill that was following him from a few meters behind. A chill that Miff took great care to keep ahead of in pace.
"Don't tell me he still hasn't caught a frog yet," the orange-leaved marksman said with disgust. Really, defeating such an insignificant creature as a giant frog should be child's play. Hadn't he done just that single-handed(The other three didn't really help in Miff's opinion) in a Faron Woods swamp not long ago? "At this rate we'll never get up to Hyrule Field!"
Miff came to a stop in the middle of a small grassy clearing and yelled out for his minstrel again, once more not bothering to call him by his actual name. The Deku immediately regretted the decision to stop, however, as the temperature around him promptly dropped to below freezing as a result.
"What did I say about getting too close to me!?" the Mad Scrub asked quietly of the chill behind him, a small glare in his right eye as he turned just enough for the source of the cold to see it.

"A frog? What's that? Where's Hyrule Field?" Talking to himself in anger probably wasn't helping keep Isolde quiet. The more information he leaked, the more the naive woman wanted to know. Her curiosity was rather vast. But who could blame her? All this was so new to her. It was natural to be so excited and amazed by the differing and unique beauty of the forest. Well, maybe it didn't seem so natural considering her age. Nonetheless, Isolde acted like she was a toddler as she followed her leader around. The image of the two of them looked rather amusing.
"Oh, right!" The innocent young Goron giggled innocently. She stepped backward as per Miff's request. Really, it was such a silly thing to request, she thought. Who didn't like the cold? She found it wonderfully crisp and refreshing! Miff was a plant sort of thing, shouldn't he like that sort of refreshing stuff? Oh well.

"A frog's a big, green four-legged monster that can jump higher than a stand of trees and cross half a forest in a matter of minutes." The warbled voice of the fishman popped up suddenly some meters behind Isolde, as approached from down the road, though as he came within her area of influence, he rubbed his arms. "A little cool for summer isn't it?" Then noticing the Goron's strange tint took a few steps backward towards the warmer bits of the forest.
He pulled his coat closer to his shoulders and adjusted his hat, afterwards pulling a bottle of water off a string to wet his face and gills.

"There you are, cowboy!" Miff said with almost an accusatory tone. Really, how dare he not appear the moment Miff first called out for him? The Mad Scrub proceeded to move to get a clear view of his "personal minstrel" from behind Isolde. Like Zafun himself the Deku purposefully took the long way around, staying out of range of a certain Goron's climate zone. "Still haven't got one for yourself yet, huh? Well, guess I'm willing to lend you my strength again."
Miff said this haughtily, his spout raised into the air. Meeting Isolde had given him something of an ego boost. Actually, Miff's ego couldn't possibly grow any larger so it was more like an ego justification. Either way the Deku was holding back his arrogance even less, were that possible.
"This is Frosty. She's not allowed to get close until she learns how to stop being so cold, but she's fairly tough. I decided to let her tag along and teach her about real power," Miff explained, as if that made any sense at all. Isolde would have to handle her own introductions if she wanted Zafun to have any real idea of who she was. The Zora himself would have to do the same, really. Miff wasn't big on saying much about people who weren't... well, Miff.

"A monster that can do that! Whoaaaa." Isolde said, her amazement not nearly as insincere as it might seem. She turned to face the newcomer, and before she could even ask, her question was answered by Miff, who began scolding Zafun.
Zafun looked so strange! Almost as strange as Miff! He had a weird color too, not bothering to acknowledge her color was weird for her species. From where she was from, she was perfectly normal. "What's that on your head?" She asked. Did everyone in this land have weird stuff on their heads? It certainly seemed that way. "And why are you dumping water on yourself?" Actually, people here were just weird! Neat!
She had been about to run right up to him and touch it, but was reminded of the rule when Miff informed her new friend about it. Lucky for Zafun, she was beginning to catch herself. This time, he had only been saved by Miff saying it out loud. Her excitement would have screwed him otherwise.
