PERSONALITY,When you get take in the Twili male at first glance, you wouldn't expect him to be anything worth considering being apart of the Sovereign's group of advisers. Akira is a man of simple taste. He appears at first to dislike complicating matters or getting into arguments with anybody. The best way to describe him at first is a timid introvert. He's quick to apologize for any errors and appears polite as much as possible.
You wouldn't consider him outgoing since he tends to elude himself from any form of socialization. It's not that he wants to exile himself away from society, but rather, he has a hard time talking to people. It's not hard to see that he's a little on the shy side, and tends to be as quiet as a mouse. He tries to make eye contact, but even then, they won't get his eyes for more than a few minutes, before they wander off in another direction to keep him even mildly calm. He tends to awkward silences... quite frequently. At times, he tends to brood on his own complex, especially when his guard is down.
HOWEVER! Should you manage to find a way to get through this transaction, you'll notice a complete change in behavior in Akira. When you've gotten past his awkward barrier he's an affable guy. He'll joke around, make comments, as if nothing is wrong with him, but that is only if you can get past his front. When he's found himself comfortable around someone, he'll start observing everything down to the very microscopic detail, and pointing out points of interest; both the pros and cons. Although he doesn't flaunt his skills, he's quite intelligent, and when if need be can be practically tactical. He tends to believe that he can give very good advice, but hilariously ironic, seldom follows his own.
He'll go to any lengths to make sure his friends, and loved ones are safe. He is an ardent, loyal follower of keeping peace, and justice - no matter what the means is to up hold it amongst his people. Once he's set his mind on something it's difficult to get him to change his mind - a stubborn streak is quite commonly seen in Akira. He has a kind heart, but tends to sway about with making good decisions, if only, for himself. He tries to look out for his people as a whole but being a young adviser, he has a tendency to act a bit immature due to the lack of respect he tends to bring upon himself.
APPEARANCE,He is a rather tall twili man standing at a good six foot, two inches. He tends to hover over people's heads, and it gives most people the impression that he's looking down at others. His build isn't impressive but he isn't bony either, taking on a lean athlete's form. You'll notice right away his twili traits, adorning a willowy frame, and the pale blue tinted skin complexion. Akira's eyes are a startlingly intense greyish blue. Rather than the standard twilight shaded hair most of his kin adorn, his hair is an elongated silver, which is very straight and unkempt. It is choppily cut and longish, falling just past his shoulders. His bangs fall just below his eyes, shielding them from direct view most of the time. Akira's attire varies greatly. It usually consists of a pair of dark blue slacks, a pair of black tennis shoes, a simple black tee, and a light zip up hoodie (black, of course). Despite his grungy appearance, though, he is still very stately and stiff.
WEAPONS,Heartstrings: Akira specializes in one particular weapon: wires. Versatile in many forms of usage really - assassination's a popular one, trap setting, and even using overall as a deadly weapon. In the form of ten metal rings, one on each finger, from which the strings of Heartstrings are produced, he can control how many wires he sends out at once, from one string to ten strings at the same time. Each thin enough to break skin like a real blade, but just thick enough to keep a wrapped grip around his opponent. They are breakable by any means if you slice at them good enough. Though there is one thing that makes Akira's strings different from the rest of any regular assassin's wires: his strings are actual musical strings. Each individual string has a small grappling hook on it to latch itself onto anything solid, and plays a different tune, ranging from low keys to very high keys, like you'd find on a piano. Akira can play tunes with each string, but what he uses the strings for is actually a medium for his true powers.

ABILITIES,Sonokinesis (Lieutenant Slot)It started out as a simple obsession with music and eventually it evolved into studying the art of manipulating sound into an tangible weapon. Over the years of trying to perfect this art, Akira possesses the ability to manipulate sound waves to mimic and distort noise, replicate frequencies, and create sonic blasts. Passively, he can see the sound waves as transparent cyan blue waves that float in the air. Another little gift thanks to sound manipulation is a sonar ability (think bats) that alarms him of what's around him so good luck trying to surprise him. He can be found canceling out sound by returning with a high frequency negative sound, making everything silent or even extremely loud and deafening. He uses music via Heartstrings as a medium to create, and bend sound waves to his will.
Sonic Burst: First off all, Akira must latch his strings onto his target, and quite frequently it tends to be inanimate objects. With a single pluck of his strings, the twili can generate a dense seismic burst via vibrations onto the latched target. The burst is strong enough to break through solid objects (example: rock, metal, glass, etc). However should his target be a living being, he must successfully wrap his opponent into his wires, for the burst deals moderate damage in speaking of LS-terms wise. His wires are visible and - as stated before - can be cut before he manages to wrap them around his target. Sonic Burst requires a three post cooldown after each usage.
Sonic Blades: Through each frequency he creates with his strings, he can manipulate them into changing it's form into blades. He uses these sonic blades as a means of projectiles. Each blade is cyan transparent, which distinguishes his affiliation of twilight magic influenced sound manipulation, so his enemy can see. If afflicted by the blades, it's basically the same amount of damage as a typical sword would do when coming across flesh. LS-wise, they range from low to moderate damage. He can conjure up four blades with a four post cooldown.

Shadow Masters
The Twili are inextricably bound to the magic of shadows and twilight. This affords them a great many powers, but it does come at a cost: in direct sunlight or moonlight, the Twili take some very tough damage (if they ever find themselves fighting in the sun or moonlight, that damage is two levels per turn). With this great weakness, however, comes two very great powers.Shadow Veil: The Twili can choose to occupy any shadow, taking on an incorporeal form. This means that the Twili is essentially removed from combat, so they can’t do anything (or have anything done to them) in terms of fighting. They can also teleport freely between shadows, but doing so has a three post cooldown in battle. Entering or leaving a shadow takes two action slots, and doesn’t apply to the last turn (i.e. you can’t slip into a shadow after the other guy has fired off his doom laser. You take that hit. It’s the ones afterwards that you avoid). This ability can’t be used in beast form.
Shadow Beast: All Twili have the innate magical ability to turn into a Shadow Beast (i.e. some sort of animal/creature with a loose shadow theme). Akira's shadow beast form takes on the form, for a lack of a better, a wyrm of sorts. In this form, he has six legs armed with sharp talon-like claws, and a tail with jagged bone-like structures traveling across his spinal cord up to the very top of his head. Getting whacked with his claws or tail, mind you, will hurt or at least leave you with scratches. His body as a whole appears skeletal meaning you could see no sight of flesh on his form, and even right between his bones! He has a four eyes sitting in front of his head glowing orange, and demonic like. Shadow Beast form can last from 2-5 posts, and the cooldown is two posts plus the amount of time spent in the form.
HISTORY,
Normality for a typical twili isn't exactly normal. Though one can only suppose that it may vary from being to the other, Akira was by far not a sane kid growing up. As a twili growing up, Akira grew fond of destructive mechanisms, be it explosives or even just smashing things with rocks watching as they fell apart. This negative habit evolved into developing home made weapons, and testing them in his backyard, testing them on dummies, and targets. His favorite past time included creating, and testing various traps on rodents he picked up from the streets, and watching his creation's flaws play out before improving, and building bigger, and better traps. He didn't see it by any means sadistic or evil, but rather inventive for the most part. However the obsession quickly died when he reached ten, and while experimenting on a trap that implemented the light from the Sols, something went horribly wrong, and an explosion occurred. The twili male was quickly hospitalized, and placed under juvenile servaliance for illegal weaponry developement. The trauma of nearly losing his life in that accident turned his twilight burnt red hair to a cool pale silver, and his blue tinted skin paled slightly.
During his down time recovering, and recieving psychological therapy, Akira took that time to try something new. His therapist told him to start playing piano, and get into music. Something less destructive, and more along the lines that the law can smile upon. He didn't take it seriously at first, but when he began practicing, he found it quite enjoyable. He never had much of a social life outside of his obsession, which lead him to be withdrawn, recluse from most people. Akira made damn sure that he only made contact with others for the sake of satisfying his typical needs such as buying food or gathering tools to fix his piano. Small stuff like that.
Soon enough his obsession took a new form, and he started writing his own songs, and symphanies. Many years were spent perfecting this to an art. Unfortunately, although aspired as he was to begin creating beautiful music, he still longed that passion to create something beautiful yet deadly. Then it dawned upon him: why not make music into a weapon? Or rather pure sound itself? The years that came and went were spent religously tampering with magic that could manipulate sound. The fruits of his labor were bountiful. By the time he was eighteen, he began to notice while his new found powers grew he could begin to see the sound waves in the air. He soon found that it wasn't enough to just manipulate sounds that were already in the air, but rather creating them would be a fun test to try as well.
However his new found abilities wouldn't go unnotice with the authorities knowing from his tendencies from before. He was given an ultimatum: either cease his progressive studies for the sake of upholding order or put his study in service for the Sovereign. Akira was quick to offer his service, and dedicately worked on his art for the sake of protecting the ruler that allowed him to pursue what he loved. Soon enough tutors began to provide him with a wealth of knowledge he couldn't even begin to fathom, and put that knowledge to good use.
When he reached twenty-two, it would seem that his luck would start to change, and he was offered the chance to become one of the Sovereign's advisers. He thought to himself what a fine oppurtunity it would be to be a helping hand to his leader, and eagerly accepted. He is fairly new to the job, and doesn't know much about how to be a professional so, he formed a reputation pretty quickly as the not so... respectable lieutenant of the group. He is a fool, but a handy fool at best.
