[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,550,true][atrb=style, text-align: justify; width: 275px;] call to arms, ELDIN, on the outskirts near kakariko — rumour have passed amongst the people that a band of ruffians have been pilfering from the small village in the vicinity, grabbing what they can, when they can, be it or much worth or not. upon further investigation, it was discovered that the group holds a rather intricate, yet well-concealed camp not too far away, but are also in possession of many captive monsters from various regions, also explaining why they are unable to migrate further away with swiftness. as a result, it has been decided to leave it up to the more combative and prepared adventurers of the world to do away with the thieves. FROM THE HOST (OPTIONAL), Phoenixity here. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, but I thought I'd try out for the position of Quest Master for kicks. I do have a bit of experience, if only a little, and in all truth, I simply thought this quest idea would be fun to play out (maybe it doesn't seem like it, but there's a few things planned for this quest already. :I), and test my capability as a D/QM so I don't mind not getting the position. xD Let's just have a little fun~ | [atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,5px,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,550,true][atrb=style, text-align: justify; width: 275px;] briefing, This quest HAS NO PARTY LEADER. Instead, think of it as the Gimli and Legolas orc-slaying contest (that was a lame comparison, I'm sorry)! There will be a scoreboard, and the things you do and don't do will earn or lose you points. In short, it's a competition. However, that doesn't mean you can't work together. I'm not going to say anything on whether you decide to battle it out, or cooperate (or even turn against your own party member, what), but keep in mind this affects your 'score', and there is only really one true way to get the best out of your points. As a trial quest run by a trainee quest master, only TWO PEOPLE are allowed to join (an instance; if time permits and enough are interested, I may be willing to run multiple instances in a different setting). In regards to difficulty, I'd like to say somewhere around EASY-MEDIUM (THREE or FOUR... FIVE?), however, I'm not entirely sure, because I think I have a tendency to make enemies easy. =w= My thoughts have not been confirmed in the past, however, so I may be completely, ultimately off. This quest is CANON (FACT), and also uses the CASUAL battle style, so tread wisely. As a side note to judging, I am not very familiar with LS, however, if I ever get actual time, I would be more than willing to try and practice or learn it out (just not now). CAUTION! THIS QUEST CONTAINS, — mobs, mobs, mobs. — mini-bosses, and perhaps a final boss, if possible. — those painful decisions that affect your quest outcome! (i.e., will you do this or this, resulting in this or this!) — a scoreboard, which i think will also reflect the amount of your reward, and if not, it will add a fun competitive spice anyways. — some other stuff i probably forgot about. ADDITIONAL NOTES, As a generous gift for assisting the villagers, both party members have been awarded ONE (1) PHOENIX FIRE, just in case. if and once the quest is over, you have not expended said phoenix fire, you DO NOT get to keep it, but rather, you may earn bonus points for the scoreboard. When the quest begins, participants have a THREE DAY time period to get a post for each round. If a member fails to do so, first their phoenix fire is taken and/or used, and they will then have two days to reply afterwards until they are permanently kicked from the party, and ultimately replaced if anyone is willing. I'd simply like to point out we're going to try and keep things cool and casual, so no need to rush, and if you're busy, you'll have second chances. As a side note, I do in fact start school in a couple of days, but I should be okay with my super procrastination abilities. OTL This quest does seem like it might be lengthy (Or maybe because of all the stuff I have in mind), but I'll try to make it breeze by. I guess.) Haha, don't let any of what I'm saying discourage you from taking part! GET IT? GOT IT? GO! ASDKOSFS. |
