[atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] Everywhere he looked, there was snow. Everywhere he breathed, his breath formed before his eyes, a small cloud of white, soon to dissipate from existence, blending in with the chill air. His soft white hair would have blended perfectly into the scenery, were it not for his bright red garments that made him stick out like blood on the white suit of a murderer.
At first glance, one might assume he should have been cold, for though he was clothed enough, it was still the frozen providence of everlasting frost after all. Yes, he should have been cold, but the mysterious figure found himself at a rather comfortable temperature, perhaps thanks to his true nature.
A free wanderer, the pale-faced male was, inadvertently finding himself stumbling his way to a frozen pond of sorts, staring into the empty depths of nothingness, pondering whether there were any fish from eternities ago encased and trapped in the deeper abyss that no living being would want to try to traverse.
As it was clearly dangerous to try to walk across the pond, the hellhound merely found himself standing by the edge, peeking into the opaque depths with his crimson gaze as best as he could. There were two options at this point, and he would have to decide before the day decided to end. Peering skywards, the sun greeted him nonchalantly, hanging overhead to indicate it was somewhere around noon, or perhaps a little later.
So, should he tread along the danger line, and see what might be in store for him ahead, or turn tail and take a different road to follow?

A lone figure walked through this snowy wasteland. It was equal in height to the average human but seemed taller up close. It was a he and he was a Wraithnut. A very unique monster to roam the lands of Hyrule. Despite the freezing cold, he came clad in only bone and leather hide armor. A cowl covered his head with a short length reaching down his back, shredded to give it a scary appearance. A skull that resembled a monster with a snout was worn on his face like a mask, also causing an eerie green glow to escape it. More of the faint glowing appeared on more parts of his body, these were his Energy Nodes but we won't get into that.
The monster strolled through the snow, not really looking for anything in particular but just getting a feel for the land, just in case his Emperor sends him on a righteous mission to lay waste to provinces of Hyrule, he'll know his way around then. Moments later, he came across a young man by the frozen lake. Coming to a stop, he merely stared at the other. If a fight were to ensue, his gauntlets were sharpened just right to hurt but he also had his staff which was held in his right hand.
Sighing heavily, which almost sounded like nails on a chalkboard, he spoke to the boy.
"Greetings young one.."
His voice was like an eerie rasp. A demonic accent but still spoke the language of the hylians. The tone wasn't deep or soft, just mild. He was a civilized monster. Being among mortals so long rubbed off on him, putting a sliver of formality into his life.
Is he monster or mortal?

[atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] As he pondered wake and hardly any weary, the hound-disguised-man could sense something approaching from afar. Well, he couldn't quite sense it, but he could smell and hear it, and that was good enough for him to at least figure out that he wasn't alone. Yes, in the wilderness, he never would be completely alone, even if he thought he was. But what did it matter to him? He preferred company over solitude, as a matter of fact, although whether he enjoyed one particular companion or not was an entirely different tale to tell.
The air was brisk and arid as he took inhaled a silenced breath, in a rather futile attempt to check his surroundings further. As it would seem, he would simply have to rely on what he could see with his own eyes. Not too difficult of a task in such a vast expanse of whiteness. Especially when what he ended up looking for was not really doing much to hide himself, and that only meant there would be little hostility.
"Greetings young one.." Eyes drifting away from his faint reflection upon the ice, the monster slowly turned around on his heels, as a rackety, particularly ominous-sounding (to his ears, perhaps) voice sounded in the serene air. Beneath every perfect picture, something horrid, indeed. Although to the eyes of the hound, the approaching figure was more mysterious than frightening to him, likely because of his own status as a monster. Armored and covered, wielding an interesting staff, the dog held an innocently piqued look in his eyes as he examined the latter, he questioned how he should go about interacting with the stranger.
But knowing himself, he would skip such a thought process and move right along to his normal attitude. Before the silence drew out to the point of awkardness, a minute, yet wary smile formed upon his lips, as he gave a small wave of his hand before returning it to his side. "Hullo there!" Came his rather carefree response. "This area doesn't seem to get many visitors..." He sighed idly afterwards, appearing moderately divulged in his ramblings. "Then again, you have an.. otherworldly air about you, I guess. No offense of course."

"Considering this cold, I doubt many people would come here."
Which is true though. Who would go out of their way to travel into the freezing cold for no apparent reason? Lucien only came out here because he was just scouting the area but even he didn't want to stay here long. Frostbite and all.
"You have a good eye on you, young one. Are you of our kind or a mortal?"
He approached the boy, standing next to him and looking out onto the frozen pond. So much ice and curse this cold. Maybe the boy could be of some use to him. The more the merrier. Then again, it could get more annoying with more people but more people means you can overwhelm the enemy but more people costs more to feed and clothe but you lay waste to all! Screw that, it's too much to think on. Leave that up to the people that make a living off of calculations.
I want some pie...
I'm not really on my game these days, I apologize for the lateness and crappy post x.x

[atrb=valign,top][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true] "Eyes, no,"
Well, not that the apparent teenaged boy had bad eyesight, it was simply that there were other more reliable indications that told him this man is different other than his eyes. "Nose, yes." He chuckled, mostly to himself, restraining himself from winking teasingly at the stranger. "I s'pose you're right about the cold, though. But that only makes us more odd for having met here." He finished lightheartedly, turning himself back to face the smooth surface of the pond as the abnormally dressed figure came to stand beside him, also peering across the horizon. If anything, it could compare to two old friends reminiscing over the sunset, only there was no sun setting, and they were only mere acquaintances who held no names.
Speaking of names...
The hound felt his head tilting to gaze at the man once more as the thought crossed his mind. If they hadn't gotten into some kind of argument, physical or verbal, then the only other option was to get along, was it not? The mediocre smile remained emblazoned on his face. "Call me Savara," he started, giving the latter a minuscule bow of his head. Normally, he would have simply used his first name, but he was intrigued by this mystery character, and certainly did not want to give what might be a spoiler. "And you could say I'm not like most others, yes..."
