From a rooftop, Kinsley stood up looking at the sky as the sun descended into the horizon. It was moments ago, that she left the Fairy's Fountain Inn, after dressing up in her bandit outfit, and just before that ended her shift there as a waitress. Right now, she is just waiting for the day to end and night to begin. She planned like she does almost every night, steal from noble. After a while, she got bored looking at the sky, and looked down from her rooftop to peer at the masses below that were lessening with each minute. Some preferred the day, the rest the night.
A small sigh blew free from her mouth. She found this waiting to be dull and boring. She wished there was something to keep her busy while she waited for the night.

OoC: It's not a consistent thing, which is good, but remember to stay in the same tense. Most people write in past, i.e. he walked to the inn, careful that he didn't meet the eyes of anyone who happened to be watching him at the time which is customary of most literature and practically all RPs. Just don't mix first and third person. Other than that, it's not bad. A bit short, but as they say, quality > quantity. So don't worry too much about that. Some super neat, awesome-rific, sophisticated or perhaps laborious vocab would be cool too, if you wanted to do that. I used to read the dictionary for fun. Yeah, I'm a nerd. ;D Anyways... on to the RP! IC:
Normally, when Lorelai went about his days, they generally consisted of wandering around looking for people to prank. Today, for whatever reason, Lore decided that he would spend the day sightseeing. Already he'd been to Kakariko Village, explored a big section of Hyrule field-- which occupied the greatest time out of his day, regardless of his being in wolf form-- and now he was at the famous and glorious Hyrule Castle Town. The sun was setting now, so Lore knew he couldn't stay long, but he'd rarely visited the town, and so he dedicated the latter part of the day to doing so.
Lore sighed heavily, wrapping his cloak around him. He only wore it to conceal his white, bushy wolf tail from the public. Most people didn't see Minish in public, and he wanted to avoid the disgusted looks from the commoners. Not to say, though, that they would all give him strange looks; moreover, it so happened that a lot of people were fascinated with the Minish race. But Lore wanted to take all caution and not make himself stand out. Besides, he still planned on pranking people, even though he was sightseeing for the day.
Smirking, the clever young Minish darted down an alleyway. Fortunately, no one had seen him. He ditched his cloak, throwing it away in a rather conveniently placed garbage pile. Using his agility and acrobatic prowess, he scaled between two buildings, one of which was a tavern, from the looks of things. Once he reach the top, Lore vaulted over to the right, landing with a roll on the roof.
What he saw startled him, and he no longer drew breath for fear of being discovered. This could be his first victim! She was perfect! She hadn't discovered him yet, and he had been much too quiet with his approach to be noticed yet. If he changed into his wolf form, he'd make too much noise and she'd realize his presence. With a devilish smile drawn across Lore's mischievous looking face, he quickly and carefully crept across the roof to the girl's position. He'd startle her, that's what he'd do, and he'd hope that she would fall from the roof and land on a passerby.
That could be dangerous though, Lore thought last second as he approached. Maybe it would just be best to scare her and catch her if she startled to fall. Or... maybe he could just talk to her. Pranking people was his forte, his favorite thing to do, as he was a connoisseur of all things tricky and vile, but perhaps a different approach was in order. Why was she on the roof to begin with? That was a good question Lore would be sure to ask her.
He coughed, alerting her of his presence, and then spoke up. He felt strange. It wasn't like him to avoid pranking someone. It made him feel incomplete and weird; almost bare, in a very personal sense of the word. "Why are you up here all by yourself?"

Her canine ears moved slightly to the sound of the young man's voice as it bounced against her eardrums. On the heel of one of her black leather boots, she turned around and faced him. She appeared before the young man as a woman in her mid 20's. The lady had the ears and tail of a silver fox; Even the hair on her head had that dark silver hue. The other features of her that can be easily noticed, besides her slender build and those curves, was the silver mask she wore that hid only the top half of her face, and her good quality clothes that look suited for a ball.
"Oh. I'm just watching his lovely sunset."Kinsley said to him, with sweetness dripping in her young, yet mature voice. She placed a gloved hand on her hip and smiled at him with her rosy lips. She was glad that there was someone here to ease her boredom, and she hoped at least he'll keep her entertained until night rolled around.
"So why are you here?" she said, and she still had the soft smile.

She seemed too nice, but Lore didn't mind that at all. He approached her, standing beside her, and looked down into the street below him. As the sun was setting, people were clearing the town. The fountain, the large source of water that had a stone triforce symbol atop it, seemed rather radiant in the twilight. The water was bright blue, and the people that were lingering on in the town at this time of evening seemed to be massing around the fountain.
Lore placed a hand on his lower hip and sighed. The sunset was pretty, but Lore preferred the moon. He liked the quiet and cool of the nighttime. He felt more at home in the dark, more at peace. It was when the moon was the brightest light in the area that Lore felt most comfortable. He liked the twilight, as well, but was eager for it to subside and fade into dusk, and from dusk, into the infinite blackness of nighttime.
He smiled wryly, giving the woman a quick look, then looked back at the street with a chuckle. Should he explain his original intention? Sure, why not. He was open-minded and outspoken, after all, and she didn't seem like the type of person to care. He hadn't pranked her anyways, so surely she wouldn't be too upset to hear that was his original intent. He was thankful that she was so amiable.
"Well, I was going to sneak up on you and scare the hell out of you." Lore looked down and revealed a toothy smile, and he couldn't help but laugh a bit while he did so. "But I didn't feel like it, so I just made myself apparent. Oh," he continued, finally looking her in the eyes. His one red and one blue eye were now clearly noticeable. "My name's Lore." Kinsley watched the male as she walked over beside her and looked down from the ledge. She turned herself around and joined him in some sight seeing. She saw from there how beautiful, not as beautiful as her, the fountain was. Sure, she has climbed and scaled buildings before, but she haven't taken much time to look at the finer things in life that were free. Free for her to experience.
She looked over at her side towards the young man next to her, who was also at that same time looked back at her, but only for a moment before he darted his gaze elsewhere. She then heard him say what he had thought about doing. But to not embarrass him, she decided not to tell him that she was aware of his presence.
But then again.. she wanted to see his reaction if he knew.
"I'm sorry, but I've already known you were here, before you called out to me." she smiled at him, after making a small chuckle. She might as well exchanged her name with him, since he was so kind to had shared his. "I'm Kinsley, the bandit queen." She didn't mind him knowing she was a thief. She did just to see if he had a reaction to this fact.

Lore was both dumbfounded and unbelieving. He turned his head to her, and looked at her straight in the eyes with a visual expression that said 'bullshit'. There was no WAY she could have heard him! His senses and sneaky prowess were near unmatched, but if she had... She surely was something amazing. She was rather pretty, too, but Lore made sure that this Kinsley didn't know he thought so. Instead, he continued to stare at her for a while with that same 'bullshit' expression, then finally looked away with a smug smirk on his face.
"Hmph." he muttered under his breath, then looked back down to the town. A bandit queen, huh? Perhaps she really was something special. Lore couldn't remember a time in which he'd had a run in with a bandit, much less one that stood out in the open like she was doing. Things were certainly very interesting, that was something Lore found to be attractive about the situation.
He yawned, his hand still on his lower hip, and turned his head back to her, his vibrant oppositely-colored eyes fixated on hers. "Well, I don't know whether or not I believe that." He said curtly, but then offered her his hand. "But my name is Lore. Nice to meet you. I don't have any special title."
