Abe laughed, and as Echo floated off the bridge and over the water, Abe took a similar approach. He strolled back to the side of the bridge and sat down, dipping his feet back in the water, and letting himself fall hypnotically into the feel of the cool water on his feet. He very much enjoyed the lake and what it had to offer, though he preferred the ocean more. Perhaps he'd make a trip there sometime soon.
She was a closed off being, and he knew that, because he was closed off as well. Interesting it was, Abe thought, that two alike people seemed to be so unalike in times like these. Abe wanted information about her, and she was reluctant to give it. Abe would be the same way about his past, and he knew that, though he didn't seem to be showing it with his current persistence. Smiling a bit at the reflection in the water, Abe decided to speak up again.
"Well, there's you," He said with a chuckle, "and I am interested. So you should tell me something about yourself, and I will exchange a piece of information about myself. If, of course, you are interested." He finished, hoping she would take him up on his offer.

Echo was taken back by the other's blunt sentiments about wanting to make her the topic of conversation, and she felt kind of disgusted by the other's underhanded way of trying to get information out of her by offering information about himself to trade! Who did this boy think that she was? He obviously had no idea who it was he was talking to; Echo was sure she was going to make it stay that way!
A limp shrug is given as she watches the male bring himself down into a sitting position, envying how his feet could be embraced by the water below the both of them. "There really isn't much to say about me," she spoke without much emphasis in her voice, her right eye shutting behind it's lid as her left eye scanned around for nothing at all. After a few moments of this pointless action, she decides to float further out into the lake; her eyes now both looking down below her, into it's murky depths, trying to see through it's clouded veil. Right now, Echo isn't too far away from Abe, but that could all change at any moment. In the back of her mind she had an idea to submerge herself in the water, not that she would feel it's embrace or the water would drench her with it's love, but just so she could go down into it's veil and disappear out of sight from the male. That'd be quite the exit, in her mind anyways.
Though, something struck her sideways - like a hammer to her temple, her head fell to the side as a thought entered her brain. Perhaps getting to know Abe wouldn't be such a bad thing, because he did seem to be someone rather intriguing. What if he somehow had connections to people or things or places that she herself knew all too well? There was only one way to find out, and it was to play his game; she decided she would, but under her own terms and underhanded methods too! "You first," she said simply, peering over her shoulder at the male with those hollow eyes of hers.
