I plans to buy a Magic Upgrade Tier I and use it on my Parry and Riposte ability.

Currently:

Parry and Riposte
With her fencing prowess Kinsely can use her last Action Slot in a turn to enter a defensive stance. From this position, she can deflect one physical strike of an equal or lower level to this ability made against her. If the attack was made from close range and the attack was the second Action Slot used by her opponent, then a counterattack with 100% accuracy will be launched against the attacker during their turn.

Upgrade:

Parry and Riposte
With her prowess in swordsmanship, Kinsley swings her blade while using minimal movement in her arm to parry a close ranged attack, or reflect long ranged projectiles from her opponent. For her to be successful, the attack or projectiles have to be physical based. If she parries from close range, she will immediately launch a counterattack dealing moderate damage against the opponent.

Just a small request, could you include a link to your character in the homepage section of your profile or as a sig for a quick way to access your character. Got her up now, but just for future purposes.

Hm... so you go from parrying an attack of equal level to this to being able to parry anything. My only issue is it therefore being able to like... parry someone with a gigantic hammer or something, whose physical strength you'd never match.

I think increasing it to parrying attacks up to (and including, of course) Heavy physical attacks would be fair for the LS style, and for Casual/Story, keep it limited to weapons such as swords and projectiles, as you wouldn't really parry an axe/hammer/club, for example. For projectiles, you could probably get away with a speed parry of a few arrows or something.

I'm OK with that. But what do you mean by speed parrying?

Heh, my speed parrying I meant that Kinsley would be like... doing some epic fast sword moves to block a load of arrows, like an epic multi-parry or something. =D

OK, like how many should she parry or reflect from her opponent? All the projectiles used from one Action Slot?

If the opponent happens to strike from close range, and is parried, she will make a riposte against them, inflicting moderate damage. Her sword can endure heavy physical attacks, but anymore than that, will break the blade. It will also be rendered useless by weapons specializing in blunt force.
