APPEARANCE,Standing short for her age, Namina shows the thin build of a child who probably doesn't eat as much as she ought to. At the very least she does show all the typical signs of her Gerudo heritage: dark skin, gold eyes and red hair. Namina's hair however is very clearly not well-groomed and seems to stick out in a multitude of directions as if she had always just been caught in an explosion or were recently electrocuted. Sometimes that actually is the case.
Namina doesn't have much to her name so she just wears a dirty white t-shirt and a pair of black shorts. Nothing but a pair of brown sandals protect the child's feet from the elements. Her prized possession is a pair of green-tinted goggles that protected her eyes from sandstorms when she was younger and escaping the desert.
WEAPONS,Pocket Knife
A blade that can be closed into or flipped out of its handle. Namina usually uses it as a utensil when she eats or for other busy work but it can also be used in self-defence if necessary.
ITEMS,Anything she has she sells or eats.
ABILITIES,Petty Thief
A mysterious power causing her to grow up without adult supervision in various places has led to some less-than describable talents for Namina.
Magic Slot: The Ignored
Namina has an odd but fortunate talent of not registering on people's radars. It's not that they don't see, hear, smell, or otherwise sense her with whatever magical abilities one might use for such things, it's just that she doesn't strike the mind as being important. Until Namina takes action to interact with someone or something directly(Be that talking to them or beginning to try to attack them) she will not be addressed or alluded to by other people. Even if she were in somebody's way they would just move around her without thinking about it. Accidentally knocking some unimportant things over would make people notice the mess but not necessarily the girl who caused it. Once she does make herself known only the people Namina is interacting with and the people who are noticing that those characters are interacting with someone will stop ignoring her. It should be noted that if she interacts with something important to a viewer(Not a rock off the ground, for example, but more like someone's cherished childhood keepsake) then she will also become noticeable. If the child passes out of sensory range and people's attention is drawn away from remembering she was there then Namina will begin to be ignored once again. This power is so mysterious and potent that one would theorize that Namina is the holder of a rare and powerful type of magic... except nobody who theorizes about such things would notice her long enough to realize it.
[Passive]
Magic Slot: Pickpocket
While being ignored by others, be that because of her ability or by a character's choice, Namina has the ability to swipe something from a target while in close range. That something is usually rupees, 1 green one for every entry in the character's Item section of their CS, or however many a thread leader decides for Quest NPCs and similar types of characters. If she is not being ignored Namina can only successfully use Pickpocket if the target is somehow restrained when she attempts it. Namina will generally keep these rupees for herself, but if necessary she can throw them all at once with Gerudo-bred skill, causing Moderate Damage for each individual rupee she has collected so far that hits a target. Using Pickpocket does not cause her to become noticed, unless she were to try to steal something of importance to the target and they see if being carried away afterward(This example is viable only in plot-based situations, otherwise Pickpocket only targets in-character rupees).
[1 Action Slot, No Damage, 0 Turn Cooldown]
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Martial Experts
The Gerudo don’t just train to be good warriors; they’re naturally good at it. As a Gerudo Namina is faster and more agile than people of other races when it comes to precision combat. Even her reaction times are generally faster.
[Passive]
Dodge
Namina completely avoids one physical or magical attack without moving in or out of range.
[1 Action Slot, No Damage, 3 Turn Cooldown]
Beguile
Amassing all of her feminine wiles(In her case it's more a case of inducing pity), Namina makes a target lose the ability to physically attack(loses one action slot) for 2 turns.
[1 Action Slot, No Damage, 4 Turn Cooldown]
HISTORY,
It's hard to explain how Namina ended up how she is now, a parent-less and penniless petty thief. It's also hard to explain why no one has ever bothered trying to care for her for long and how she always ends up on her own again. To understand you will need to accept two truths:
Regardless of how you accept those facts, explaining how she came to her current method of income is easy: Namina was told tales when she was young of the great Gerudo Thieves and wishes to embody that herself. Being so young and without anyone to really raise her, though, she hasn't achieved any measure of success in the field so far. Instead she wanders occasionally from place to place, swiping whatever she needs just to survive. All the while the Gerudo dreams of stealing more and more, not realizing she is already capable of many things with her talent.
EXTRAS,
Namina adores and idolizes thieves but looks down on any other type of criminal.
