Pleased with his work Lauto went about the task of compacting his stand back down to it's carrying size. The poor thing was a little worse for wear, as expected, but they were proud battle scars that he could easily use to strike up conversations. The Zora then headed back to his many fallen items and collected them all back up into his coat, always glancing back Dekethorn's way to make sure the bandit wasn't up and after him again. It was short work thanks to Lauto's practice in the task and his fast hands.
Before long the Socializing Salesman tipped his hat in thanks toward Dekethorn one last time and, with a satisfied smirk, took off up the mountain after that previous traveler he had met. The man was sure to be curious about what had gotten the merchant so roughed-up since they last saw each other. No doubt a few rupees would exchange palms if he was able to tell the story well. The fish-out-of-water hadn't been lying about the good fortune the short fight would bring him, though he was also glad it ended now before he had to use up any more of his precious stock to deal with the threat.
When Dekethorn did manage to completely pull himself together the Deku would find himself abandoned on Death Mountain Trail.
