▲ It was quite swell having ears like she did, when feeling curious, a stroll around the city let her pick up on some interesting events and things happening about. Afternoon winds blew around you, the careless folly of children littered the streets and people seemed to be conducting their everyday business. She could even hear small animals rushing on their own little ways, to find food most likely; well probably survival at its best. Canines and felines fighting it out somewhere afar, every so often she even heard a woman in her home training her voice for an opera. It was soothing, which was odd considering she came from Snowhead. Compared to blowing wind, occasional blizzards, the sound of some animals, and maybe a couple birds… it was nothing like this place. It all felt and sounded awfully different.
Not only that, if the noises weren’t a shocker, it was the stares. She wasn’t used to seeing so many people, and all these people weren’t use to seeing a white spiral-marked fox trotting down the streets like she owned the place. Oh, how she got many stares she did, it wasn’t like it was a problem though, Kitsuna could care less of a couple looks. Every now and then, a child would bounce their way to her, and pat and scratch and run their hands through her fur- an occasional grooming that she loved to the fullest. Oh man, you know what would make his day perfect? A prank. Yep just a hardy, hilarious prank to set everyone off their hinges. Oh, but what could she do? To tell you the truth, traps were just lying about. However, Kitsuna had her eye on a particular instance. Lining the road of stony rugged paths and hay-drawn sides, a horse stood in a rather uncomfortable strife. It’s callous owner was far too busy to realize that the mare was holding the cart connected to its limps and mandibles on a down side hill. You could tell it was becoming impatient; Kitsuna herself would have kicked that thing off from the start.
The contents on the back seemed to be large melons from Ordana, which gave her even more of incentive to do, seeing melons rolling down a busy street would be priceless. So she trotted her way over, hopped between the closure of the horse and the topless wagon, and placed her nose beneath the bolt holding the two together. With a little nudge it popped out like a gerbil from a hole; and she, and the horse for that matter, watched as the cart went rolling down the hill. Luckily no one was in the general way. However, another stationary trudge carrying barrels just so happened to be in its way and it struck it hard, hard enough to send all the green-colored orbs flying into the air and colliding with the floor. Some broke instantaneously, splattering pink paste across the floor, while others just kept on rolling- rolling directly into a crowd, who immediately began to panic as green balls rolled between their feet. Many people tripped, flipped, jumped out the way or simply went running. It was quite the sight, Kitsuna swore to herself that the horse was laughing, and she made a fox-born crackle of her own.
the scene wasn’t settling anytime soon, and a man walking out of a nearby market looked over shouting, “My melons!” of course, he wouldn’t put the blame on Kitsuna, she was just a little innocent fox in a middle of a big city. She gave a wink to the horse, who seemed to wink back, and started to trot off. One thought running through her head.
What next?

It had been meant to be an ordinary day. It certainly had started off as one for Aerith, and she had been quite pleased with the successful sale of her usual flowers. The day was quite sunny and bright, and so many of the citizens were out and about with their usual duties. Selling their own wares to bring in money, or children laughing and playing around the fountain. Aerith quite enjoyed days like these, and it was nice to leave the quietness of the Faron Woods to witness the hustle and bustle of Castle Town. Her face was at least recognize around here for her various flowers to sell, and many of her customers were older women wishing to brighten their homes with the cheerful fauna. A content sigh escaped her lips, and so she pondered what to do with herself now. Her flowers had been bought, and now all she carried was an empty basket in the crook of her arm. Thoughts were dissipated with the sudden sound of cries and shouts of surprise. What in the world? Icy eyes widened at the sight of rogue melons rolling down the street.
Many citizens were running from the onslaught of fruit, and some were trying to jump vainly over them. Aerith merely stood there, sidestepping the melons with a practiced ease. Her footwork as a swordsman was paying off quite nicely in this instance. What had caused that to happen? Aerith glanced up, seeing quite a distressed male lamenting over his lost wagon of melons. It was certainly not a thing she should laugh at, but a small giggle escaped her. It was rather amusing, but she certainly did feel sorry that he had lost his sales of melons. She bent down, gathering a few of the less bruised melons into her empty basket. They would have to be washed, but at least some of them were salvageable. The others had either been stepped on, or smashed by crashing into people and buildings. "These should be still good to sell," Aerith stated gently, having walked toward the distressed salesman. She blinked as he cried with gratitude for her help, but she smiled lightly as he took the few melons that had escaped damage. Hopefully he could make some rupees on these remaining ones. Something did catch her eyes, though.
Ivory fur of a fox that was too exotic in appearance to be normal. Aerith tilted her head to the side, watching as the animal began to trot off. Oh, how adorable! The young woman wondered if this fox had been the one to instigate these rogue melons rolling everywhere? She walked away from the more happy melon salesman, following after the fox with curiosity. [She also wanted to pet the cute animal, because most girls adored cuteness.] "Where do you think you're going, hmm?" she asked. Kneeling down, Aerith scooped the innocent canine into her arms, trying to make sure she had not done so to make her uncomfortable. She used her index finger to scratch the fox behind her ears gently, wondering how this fox had ventured into Castle Town in the first place.

▲ Right when she thought she was getting off scotch free, her ears caught footsteps behind her, and then a sudden flutter of movement right at the corner of her eye. She slowly turned, heard the voice of the other who seemed to be approaching, and merely stood still for a moment. Where was she going, good question? However, she didn’t expect to be picked up, in fact you could say thanks to Kitsuna’s open personality, Aerith was a bit lucky she wasn’t some other fox who might of just pounced her. Such a kind gal though, she seemed n- oh god she was petting her ears, that one little nook she could never reach too! Aerith just went up in her ‘like’ category rather quickly. She even kicked her little leg somewhat, and looked over with relaxed face. Barely catching the melon salesman propping his horse and taking it uphill more. If a fox could smirk, than she just did it.
Oddly, as she was being picked up, she remembered something; she left all her clothing back in her favorite alley. Yes, she lived in an alley, and she stuck all her belongings into a small hole that she chased some mice out of; it was a miracle she could keep herself clean, though of course her constant self grooming could be the answer to that. Usually, all of her things were strapped on her back when she went travelling, but she seemed to have forgotten to do so this time. Well, it just meant no transforming into a human until in privacy. It seemed humans were rather uncomfortable with the young fox becoming a bare woman right in front of them, they didn’t care when she had clothes- as in only freaked out that she turns into a person. Humans tended to let their modesty get to them, she personally hated clothes. She understood that they didn’t have a natural fur like her own (One of the reasons she hates her human form actually, she gets far too cold even in warm weather,) and is certain that they do so for the children.
However, she still hated it.
Anyways, so far in this small instance of being held, she was enjoying this person's attention. And being affectionate, in both wanting it and giving it. Kitsuna raised her head to snuggle it against the others cheek, emanating a cooing noise similar to combination of purring and fox-like growling; melodic too, though she meant absolutely no hostility with; in fact she was trying to appear as warm-heart as possible. She wasn’t going to use her telepathy just yet, last time she did the person had a nervous breakdown. And oddly it was a situation quite like this one, where she ended up getting tossed into the air and hurting her paw. Not fun.

Such a peculiar little fox, but Aerith had not sensed any malicious intent from the creature. Actually, it appeared rather intelligent, and she pondered if she was perhaps a Minish enjoying being mischievous. Certainly no regular fox she had seen had markings quite like this one. She did suspect the creature had been the one behind the melon incident, but no one had been injured. [Well, physically at any point.] Her back leg was kicking, and so Aerith took that as a hint that her petting was being enjoyed quite a bit. She continued to scratch her behind the ear, carrying her along as she walked. "Aren't you a sweet thing, though mischievous, too. Were you the one that set all the melons loose?" she asked with a knowing smile. A harmless trick that had been humorous to witness, and it had provided a nice new avenue for her day. Now to see if the fox was more than she appeared~! She certainly believed so, but she would just have to wait and see.
It appeared Aerith was garnering a few stares for holding a snowy fox, but she ignored it. The fox had not been hostile with her, so she took it that it meant her new companion did not hold hostility toward humans. Nothing more than a mischievous streak to cause some mild chaos, but even humans enjoyed doing such a thing. Aerith still pondered if she was a Minish, but she continued with her methodical petting regardless. It was a shame that not many people seemed too open minded about different species, especially those of mixed blood. Shaking herself from those errant thoughts, she wondered what she should do now. Should she take the fox home with her? Here she was thinking of the creature as a pet when she could possibly be a Minish. Well, should she ask and find out?
Aerith paused in her step, giggling as the adorable fox nuzzled her muzzle against her cheek, clearly showing her enjoyment in the affection. A purring reached her ears, and she found the sound rather enchanting. Aerith stroked the fox's head gently, peering down at the entranced animal. "You're enjoying this attention. I wonder if you can understand me at all," she mused, giving the fox in her arms an opening to either prove her wrong or right. The young Hylian did not think she would be taken by surprise if she did speak to her or transformed. Perhaps not in front of all the people walking around them. She continued walking, stroking the white fox as she did so.

▲ The fox-spirit pretty much relaxed to her fullest in the other’s arms, even as she was suddenly being accused of a misdeed, in which she did commit. She couldn’t deny it, staring up at her new found friend with a certain gaze, almost as if she was being somewhat sly about it. Kitsuna herself was at ease about it all though, I mean, so far the other definitely didn’t seem like she was mad about it.
"You're enjoying this attention. I wonder if you can understand me at all,"
Well, she was right; maybe Kitsuna should speak to the woman. It almost seemed as if she wanted her to; or believed she could anyway. The fox tilted its head, and a telepathic voice would have met the young woman. It was something sweet though, not exactly mature either and it was controlled and fluent, “I guess I can’t hide it from you. I can understand you quite well.”
You could almost sense a bit of nervousness behind her voice.
For a split moment she dreadfully awaited being tossed into the air, but thought that maybe, if she kept on speaking- it might calm the person. Little did she know the other probably wasn’t going to be shaken much by her words. She made a small yawn, and peered back at the now ceased and rejuvenating mess she had started earlier. “And I might have had something to do with that chaotic scene back there.”
She made a fox like grin, placing her paws around the other’s wrist and leaning up a little, “And by something, I mean everything- but you see, that poor horse just looked so uncomfortable!” she argued playfully on her behalf, finding it all amusing really. Kitsuna was just like that, even her replies seemed to deviously worded and with alternate meanings and such.
You know, considering this gal does except a talking fox- which Kitsuna has to admit is a rarity around here- she might not be a bad candidate for Kitsuna’s whole master complex. She definitely liked being a fox and though the wild is nice and all, she actually preferred a dog’s life to it. They were so lucky, everyday they woke up to loving masters who played with them and showed them affection.
It made her jealous to an extent.
Oh~ the things she’d do for her master, other than what dogs do, she’d be much less of a mess, she probably even cook for them –clean if needed too. She’d fetch dinner, be their walking companion and if they were adventurous-type they could go sightseeing and more. Sounded like a great life to her, a really great one actually. Though maybe she was jumping the boat here…
I mean she barely knew this person- well in a dogs case I guess when they first meet they barely know their owner too. But so far she seemed so nice, that and seriously knew how to pet a fox. She could sit in her arms for days being petted and groomed like this. She kicked her legs a couple more times, showing how much she liked it, she wasn’t exactly trying to be cute.
In fact she does realize she is sort of cute, or well to extent that is.

Aerith definitely did not hold any doubts as the fox peered up at her with a gaze far more intelligent than that of a mere animal. Akin to human intelligence, but with much more mischievousness than a normal human. She enjoyed knowing that her intuition had been right again, and wondered at her odd sixth sense for these judgment calls. Well, at least it certainly served her well to discern the out-of-place from the ordinary. Surprise did flicker upon her features for a moment as the sudden voice that had entered her mind. Well, Aerith had not expected the fox to talk telepathically, and it was a little disconcerting to experience. Another voice in her mind that was not her own, but it did not feel invasive. Just a unique way to communicate, so certainly did not overreact in the least. Blinking for a moment to shake away her surprise, she did smile reassuringly at the fox. "Well, at least now I know you can understand me. I certainly didn't expect this when I woke up this morning," she replied with a giggle. What a unique way for her to have her day go~! If anyone was staring at her for talking to the fox in her arms, then she certainly did not give any notice. She tended to what she pleased at any point.
Aerith did glance over her shoulder as her companion did so. Yes, there were still remnants of the squashed melons, and some people lingered by to try and clean up the mess. Well, it had definitely been unexpected. Expected the unexpected, right? Aerith did not like anyone getting hurt, but she had enough of a mischievous side to appreciate the chaos to shake the static of the day. "I'm certainly not surprised," she stated with amusement. No doubt the fox was quite proud of her achievement in causing chaos to amuse herself with. Aerith did feel bad for the merchant, but something told her that this had not been the first time such a thing had happened to him. Her head tilted as the fox placed her paws upon her wrist, leaning up with a rather smug grin upon her furry muzzle. Well, as well as a canine could grin. Her brow quirked as she explained herself, though her words merely attempted to excuse her prank by being helpful. Then again, perhaps it had been done for both ends. Helping and for amusement for herself. "And you were being the helpful fox you are, hmm?" she asked with a playful smile. It still had been humorous to witness.
There was still much she did not know about her new companion, and whether she was a Minish or not. She was completely pliant in her eyes, kicking her small legs in pleasure at the continued petting. "Do you have a name? Mine is Aerith, and I'm very curious as to what you are," she stated, not bothering to dance around her desire to know. Such an adorable little thing, and how lucky she was to chance upon her~! Wandering away from the chaotic scene behind them, Aerith decided to merely meander about as she got to know her companion. She had such a soft spot for adorable things, and having a telepathic fox was not something she had ever encountered.

▲ All three of her tails were wagging excitedly now, she was happy to know someone was a little more open about a telepathic, albino, runic fox bumbling about. That and being a menace to society on lower levels, but you couldn’t blame the girl for that. In some cases being a fox had its advantages too, when it came to her pranks, that is. She usually wasn’t the first sight to blame, and if so, was so agile that getting away wasn’t ever a big problem and thankfully she was a mystical fox-spirit so being able to turn into a person every once in a while was always useful. At the moment, she was simply happy that this woman seemed so open about all this, I mean, Kitsuna was sure if she was a human she might just flip if a fox began to speak to her telepathically. Then again, this girl didn’t exactly smell 'Human.' It was a slightly different scent at that, something a little more mystical. She read books on the many races of Hyrule but still had some issues figuring out which was which, as the whole Human or Hylian thing continued to get at her.
“Aren’t you happy you got out of bed today?” she hummed humorously, and then stretched a little in the other’s arms, she could seriously sit like this all day, “I am always helpful, when I’m not being sly that is.” she mused and began to lick her paw in a cleansing manner, after she finished she looked back to her new companion and made a fox’s smile once more nuzzled her cheek against the shoulder and getting comfortable again. Thing is, she probably wouldn’t realize that people were finding her new found friend a little odd for talking to fox. She tended to forget that the world just hasn’t seen many telepathic foxes around. Upon hearing the greeting, she pondered on the other’s name, it was rather pretty it was, and it was easy to remember if anything. She wasn’t sure if her name was anywhere was sweet as that. But having a cute name and being adorable fox? That might be a little too much for her. “Aerith, such a beautiful name. My name is Kitsuna,” she pondered on the other’s curiosity.
Kitsuna herself was a little curious of Aerith as well, I mean, she didn’t seem or smell like a human. “Ah, well I am a simple fox to turned mystical, a spirit-fox.” She gave another sniff of the other, and then looked up into her eyes, “You look human, but you don’t smell like one, exactly. What may I ask, are you, Aerith?” it might have been strange question coming from a fox, and she actually didn’t notice this, but she was indeed curious as to find out. Knowing all about those she might be staying with for a while was a proper call for the Fox. Kitsuna definitely didn’t wake up to be greeting by such a guy person, that and being picked up and groomed. A part of her hoped she would take her home- while the other was a little worried about her stuff, well, very worried.

Aerith was quite happy to have gotten out of her bed this morning, because not all days turned out like this at all~! Hyrule was certainly filled with many wondrous sites and creatures like the one in her arms, but she had yet to really explore Hyrule. There was so much to explore and see, and Aerith was sure it would take more than one lifetime to see everything. Traveling would be such a dream come true for her, but she was still content to her home in Faron Woods, and being able to venture to Hyrule Castle Town weekly. Her life may not be the most exciting, but these sorts of discovering certainly kept her from growing bored~! Aerith still wondered if her new friend had an owner of some sort, or if she had a home here. Or did she merely wander the entirety of Hyrule to bring mischief to the mundane lives she came across? A giggle escaped her at the thought, but she gave no explanation to it. "Everyone needs some excitement once in awhile," she agreed. She scratched behind her snowy ear once more, humming lightly as the fox nuzzled her shoulder cutely. Honestly, Aerith did not think she had ever come across a more adorable animal.
Her head tilted to the side, smiling as her new friend's name filtered through her mind. Oh, well, that certainly seemed a rather appropriate name for her~! Quite a pretty name for the snowy fox, and now she was one step closer to satiating her own curiosity. Kitsuna was rather compliant in her arms, and Aerith smiled at the sweet compliment her companion had uttered. "Thank you. Your name is befitting of you," she comment, still ignoring the odd stares she garnered. Well, the young woman had always been rather peculiar, and worrying what others thought of her was not something she did too often. Was Kitsuna curious of her as well? Her crimson hued eyes did appear to studying her quite intently, and the sweet fox was sniffing her in a way that said she was unsure of what she was. Amusement filled her briefly, and Aerith held back the urge to laugh.
Her head tilted, pondering on her answer. A fox that had been turned into a fox spirit? Well, she had never heard of such a thing, but that did not mean her words were untrue. Kitsuna was communicating with her on a psychic level, along with displaying a humanoid intelligence. Her brow quirked as she was sniffed once more, but she was not affronted at all. [She showered everyday, so it certainly was not a matter of hygiene.] "Hmm, I suppose that's because I'm not completely human. My mother was Hylian, so I'm half of each," she explained. Another plethora of odd stares, some with more distaste than others. Even the most common of the hybrids were still looked down upon. That would satiate Kitsuna's curiosity for the moment, but now she wished to know if the adorable fox lived here. "Do you live here? I would think you prefer nature to a populated town like this," she inquired, tilting her head to the side with her confusion.

▲ Kitsuna’s head tilted in that cute puppy-like fashion and she took in the information vigorously and logically tore it apart. So her companion was a hybrid? How interesting, half-human and half-Hylian, she’s never actually seen this before. Oh my, how exotic~” she hummed and then listened to the next question that met her twitching ears. Where she was from, well that wasn’t too hard too explain. Though she hasn’t been home in a couple years, the peak province was forever lodged in her memory though. She wasn’t sure she ever wanted to go back, she was sure she preferred the city to it anyways. ”I was born in the wilderness of Snowpeak. Its icy tundra’s used to be my home.” Small glimpses of her family began to run through her head, and visible sadness was seen in the fox’s eyes as she looked away; that and you can almost hear it in her voice. It’s been a while since she actually thought about them. Wondering what they might be doing. She remembered all six of her brothers and sisters, three on each side. She gazed back up, her expression brightening somewhat, “But I like it here, or well wherever humans and such are.” she peered about, her eyes focusing on a certain direction; not far from here was her little hole in the wall. “In fact, if you walk right over there, you can see my home.” She informed, and then lifted her head to the direction. The other was probably still curious as to what Kitsuna was doing out here, how she ended up in the city and all. So she decided to try and work around it, she was never very keen on explaining her past. “After I left Snowpeak, I came here, years ago I spotted this traveling band of circus performs, and it just fascinated me. So I became one!” she brightened, her tails going from relaxed to ecstatic. “My home isn’t much.” she mentioned, ”I mean, I would try and buy a house but I have absolutely no idea how you creatures do that.” Thanks to living in the wilds for so long, she’s become somewhat inept when it comes to managing money and the fundamental processes of it. She actually got paid regularly as a circus performer, but does absolutely nothing with her cash. In fact, she kept a humongous bag of rupees hidden in that little home of hers; any person looking in there would find themselves the luckiest person in the world if they stumbled upon it. But usually her little corner was quiet, not many people came through it very often, every once in a while a stray cat or dog may pay a visit, dogs usually having more a problem with her than cats however, and the mice knew better, they definitely didn’t want to be lunch. Yes, other than her current home, she loved the city, but probably doesn’t realize a more forestry area might be better for her. She’s only ever seen this place- and considering she’s a constant book reader –and yes she learned how to read, it was very hard too, she’s rather proud of it- she only knows of the regions by information, not by sight. Aerith merely smiled, not thinking she was all that exotic at all. There were many more hybrids with a more exotic appearance than herself. Hybrids of all mixes of blood and looks, but she did not discriminate in the least. In fact, she found it quite romantic that love could certainly look over any perceived boundary of the human mind. It was an emotion that could not be helped, and much of the time people could not help with who they fell in love with. The heart wants what the heart wants, right? Her interest piqued at Kitsuna admitted she had been born in the mountains of Snowpeak, and she found it rather admirable that she had ventured so far from her own home to see Hyrule. Honestly, Aerith would prefer the much warmer climate of her home to the coldness of snow. It appeared talking about her home was saddening to the small fox, and so Aerith held her more securely against her chest, running her hand through her ivory fur in a reassuring manner. No doubt she missed her family, but she decided against inquiring about that, since it appeared to be quite sensitive to her friend. "The weather is so mild here, and snow doesn't happen all too often, but it's rather pretty when it does," she mentioned, idly moving the conversation along.
So Kitsuna was quite inquisitive about humans, and no doubt she had left Snowpeak to seek out civilization with more populace. The cold was not something that most humanoid races could endure for too long. Not without ample layers of warm clothing at the very least. Aerith watched as Kitsuna began to look around their surroundings, directing her by pointing her muzzle to a rather hard-to-see hole in a wall. That was where she lived? Oh, that was certainly not habitable at all! Her brow furrowed, not too keen to simply leave Kitsuna there when she departed from Castle Town for the day. "So you have a human form? I imagine working in a circus must be quite fun," she replied, smiling brightly. At least she was much more happy now~! Icy eyes peered down at the fox, wondering if she should offer shelter, since leaving her here did not sit well with her at all.
"Well, some humans sign contracts that pass ownership of property to their name, often borrowing loans from places that have the money. Or some merely find land, and then build their homes with nature's resources. I live near on the edge of Faron Woods, because I prefer nature over crowded towns," she explained, peering a little more closely at the hole in the wall. Did she have belongings there? Aerith noticed that no one lingered nearby, and she had ventured down a silent corner. Well, that certainly was lucky, if Kitsuna decided to transform. Well, she believed that the fox could, since it only made sense. Humming to herself for a moment, she pondered offering the adorable fox a temporary place to stay. No doubt Rwaht would give her a stern lecture about her 'naivete' toward others, but she sensed no malice about Kitsuna. "You know, if you'd like somewhere much less crowded to stay, I wouldn't mind taking you back home with me," she offered with a kind smile.

▲ The little fox really didn’t want to leave her new companion’s arms as it was just so comfortable, she couldn’t help but make a couple more purring coos as the other stroked her fur. Listening to the other as she inquired upon her human form, which she guest if she was going to earn her new friends trust, she’d have to show her eventually. “Ah, yes. I guess I should show you. I prefer my fox form, but it comes in handy every once in a while.” She peered down and hopped from Aerith’s arms, not first with bit of grief and a lick or two against the palm. As she listened to the whole houses/buying/etc thing, she was becoming more and more confused by the second. I mean, it was a lot for the little fox to take in. Contracts? Loans? Money? Well she had plenty of that, just didn’t know what to do with. She heard the word ‘Faron’ and her head lifted slightly, she heard of that place in books and such, but never actually went there for herself. She tended to check her home first before entering, even though yes, she scared away all the animals; every once in a while an annoying rat or two may poke its head inside and mess around in her things. Violently kicking their asses tends to keep them away for a while, but it seemed every now and then they got braver than usual and came back. Luckily, it appeared to be empty today, which would spare her guest a rather humorous but awkward scene of mice or rats being tossed about. She spotted her clothing, which she made sure didn’t touch the floor, which would be absolutely grimy. Anyways, not a second later, she came out dragging the folded clothing. With a slight whip of the head she flopped them over her back and trotted away to the side, obviously needing a little space to do this. Not even a second later, the small fox started to grow an ivory white even more powerful than her fur, and in a small flare of light, the silhouette started to mold into a human figure, growing in height and width as well. As the glow started to decrease, one could see black hair propped with white ears red almond eyes staring back at them. Kitsuna made a slight bow, her fox tails sticking up as she did so. She peered back up with a smile, though Kitsuna’s human form still carried the sly stare of a fox, which some found a little intimidating. She took a couple steps over, transforming just before hearing the other explain ‘allowing Kitsuna to stay with her.’ Kitsuna smiled, sadly being a mute in her human form made communication a little rough, but she knew how to improvise rather well. How was she to say ‘yes’ without actually saying it? Well, she could just nod her head, but that didn’t show how happy she was to be asked to stay with someone. No, instead she reach out and affectionately hugged Aerith, (pretty much glomped her actually.) and even went as far as to lick the other’s cheek. She didn’t realize it was a little… weird for a human to be licking another human’s face. But she was a fox at heart, you couldn’t blame her? [/div] TAGS; Mjrn, lol OOC;

Aerith giggled as Kitsuna continued to purr within her arms. She was such an adorable fox, and she was amazed no one had picked her up as a companion before. Perhaps some had attempted, but had not expected telepathy as a form of communication from her. At times, people only saw what they wished. It certainly had not been quite as expected, but she had already suspected that the fox was more than she appeared. Her intelligence was akin to that of a humanoid, and this conversation was quite interested for Aerith to partake in. Not to mention she had grown rather fond of Kitsuna quickly enough. Giggling as her palms were licked, she opened her arms as her friend hopped down toward the hole in the wall. "Being human does have a few advantages, I'm sure," she replied, smiling slightly. It would make for a more inconspicuous disguise if Kitsuna was running from a prank she had caused.
Aerith awaited while Kitsuna gathered her belongings from her current residence, glancing left and right down this alleyway. No one was in sight, so that was quite a relief. Icy eyes flickered downward, seeing the ivory fox back out with her clothing in her mouth. Well, at least they had not become dirtied at all, and she certainly did not like to see anyone living in conditions like these. Taking a step back as Kitsuna began to transform, she watched with a curious fascination as her form glowed a brilliant white. She idly wondered if this was how a Minish transformed into their humans forms. Soon enough Kitsuna was standing before her, but now as a human. Oh, she was just as adorable as her fox form! Ivory ears stood perched, quite a contrast with her ebony hair. Did she color it to keep herself from standing out too much? She smiled back brightly at her friend, quite happy to be able to see this.
Her head tilted to the side, and Aerith began to wonder if Kitsuna solely communicated through her telepathy. Her expression became startled as her friend suddenly launched herself at her, and she hastily opened her arms to reciprocate the hug. Giggling to herself, she was a little surprised at the lick to her cheek. Okay, certainly not an experience she had had before, but she reached up to scratch the clinging girl behind her ear. "I'll take that as a yes. Actions are often louder than words, anyway," she replied, laughing lightly. Having a companion would be rather nice to have, since it was just her and her father out in Faron Woods. Rwaht and Vriska could only visit so often, and Kitsuna could always help her around the house if she liked~!

▲ Thankfully, her friend got the message rather well. Trying her best not to lose her composure as she started to pet her ears again. She did bite her lip, and let her tails wag freely. She pulled away, and tried to think if she was forgetting anything. Her eyes went back to the opening in the wall, and her thoughts instantly went to the bag of money under there. What exactly was she going to do with it? She could give it to Aerith, however as that thought settled on her- another started to in her head… she wanted to give it to her- but she felt this was a bit necessary to get some bad karma off her back. She knelt down, reached in, and pulled out a hefty bag about the size of a basket-ball. She looked to Aerith for a moment, started in a small jog, and then motioned for her to follow.
She paced her way into the courtyard again, spotting something familiar. That merchant and his horse. He just vanished into a market building- probably to sell the small bit of melons he had given, and the horse was casually waiting for his master to return. With a few bouncy steps she was beside the powerful steed yet again, and it seemed the mare could recognize her to an extent, mostly through scent it seemed. She gave it a small wink, looked over to the small waist bag it held at its side, and dropped the bag of rupees inside. There, that should be enough to definitely pay for the damage to his melons- if so he’s probably getting a lot more than that. Not before running a hand joyously through the horse’s mane, she rotated on her heel rather swiftly, and bounced her way back.
She bowed to Aerith a little, suddenly, the feeling of wanting play was running through her. Being about forty-something, for some reason, Kitsuna realized she wasn’t aging mentally as quickly as she thought. Being in such a happy mood, she either showed her bubbly feelings through cuddling, or playing, and usually it was play fighting- but last time she tried that with a human, (while being in her human form) they didn’t really appreciate it. So she tended to let her energy just bounce out, funny thing about Kitsuna was that her human form was incredibly limber. Even as a contortionist, and an acrobat, she was actually, way more limber than them too. She made a wide smile, her strangely long fangs showing for a moment, and suddenly entered into a hand spring.
The flips continued on, pivoting and rotating her torso and waist through them elegantly, they were slow, controlled and carefully place, the toes curling before hitting the ground and her hands seemingly only needing the fingers for balance. She was in such a good mood, that she really just felt like hopping around. She was getting a couple claps and stares. Some may have even recognized her as the girl who performs at the Circus here in town, not even a wagon could get in her way, as she simply vaulted over that like it wasn’t even a challenge. Now flipping through fiery rings was a challenge. It looked like she was about to complete another flip, before suddenly stopping in mid-spring and crab-walked her way back to Aerith, making a rather goofy smile.
Yep she was very excited~ TAGS; Mjrn, lol OOC;

Aerith watched with curiosity as Kitsuna moved away from her back to the small hole in the wall. Her friend reached within to pull something out, and she guessed it was a pouch of rupees from the looks of it. Oh, she must have been saving all that money for quite a long while, and she began to wonder what her new friend was up to. It certainly appeared she had come across a happy idea, since she was currently jogging off. Icy blinked for a moment, and Aerith hurriedly followed after the mute fox, since she had yet to speak as of yet. It was certainly only an observation, but it hardly seemed to be a deterrent to Kitsuna at all. There were many other ways of communicating than just by speaking~! The two of them soon left the alleyway, and even she could see the familiar sight of the melon merchant's cart and horse. The man was nowhere to be found, so no doubt he was attempting to sell the last of his salvageable product. A smile crossed her lips as she realized what Kitsuna was about to do.
It was such a sweet and kind gesture to do! Aerith felt rather proud of Kitsuna for making amends for her previous trick, even if she did not have to do so. At times doing the right thing could be so hard, but little acts of kindness could even make the biggest difference. At least now that merchant would not be going home without any profit at all, and she hoped her friend felt quite happy with herself as well. Her friend bounced back over toward her, and it amused Aerith at how much energy the woman possessed, but it was certainly not a bad trait. Being happy and so friendly was nice to see, and so she would not regret bringing her home with her. The company would be wonderful to have, along with any help Kitsuna could provide. She clasped her hands together, giggling as her friend bowed to her slightly. Oh, how adorable the little fox was~!
Icy eyes watched as Kitsuna began to perform a series of flips and acrobatics, which soon gathered a small crowd of amazed citizens. Aerith found the spectacle rather amazing to see for herself, since she could certainly never do such a thing. So much boundless energy, and this was perhaps one of the few ways her friend knew how to let it go. She clapped along with the others, quite enjoying how this day had turned for her. Kitsuna soon stopped herself from another flip, crab walking toward her with an exuberant in place. Smiling fondly, Aerith knelt down to get closer toward the happy woman. Her hand went out to gently tweak a fluffy ear in affection. "You're really talented, Kitsuna. That was quite enjoyable to see," she complimented with a giggle.
