PERSONALITY,
Cassie is actually quite a sweet and rather kind young woman. Despite all of the battles and hardships she has gone through, she has not lost her innate optimism to always try to look on the bright side of the situation. That does not mean she is not realistic, and she will be the first one to admit if there are odds stacked against her. She takes this in stride with a calm and calculating demeanor much of the time, which comes from her years of dealing with her insane brother. She is kind to anyone she meets, unless they give her a reason not to be. Cassie does not enjoy being reckless in the hear of battle, and also holds true to this outside of fighting. She tends to over think simple problems, and does have a problem with over analyzing many things. Her enemy, herself, the reason for existence. Cassie just loves to think out everything if she is able to. Quite social when she needs to be, her rather charming nature makes her easily approachable and likable to those that want to befriend her.
Cassie has a stubborn streak a mile wide, and she has always had a little trouble following orders. If she feels what she is being told is not right, then she was find her own solution and act it out. Luckily for her, most of the time this has worked out for her. She has always trusted her instincts on a situation, which actually does go well with her tendency to over analyze. Cassie decides to do what she feels is best, and thinks out the right way to go about doing so. Her mind is near impossible to change, and constantly asking her to change it may enact her rather infamous temper. Despite her sweet and gentle tendencies, her temper is just plain scary. Cassie will shout and yell, and will inflict bodily harm if riled up enough. A nice punch in the face, or the not-so-idle threat of having her gun rammed where the sun does not shine. She does cool off pretty quickly, and will apologize for any harm she may have caused.
She is a pretty loyal friend to have, but she is definitely not afraid to say the truth. Blunt honesty is best to her, and she does not beat around the bush. If she does not like you, she will say so. Same thing if she thinks you are an idiot. She is not trying to insult anyone, she just states things how she sees them. Cassie does try to do damage control on her words if they offend, and she always lends a sympathetic ear and shoulder for a good friend. This is a one way avenue, and Cassie tends to internalize any hardship she faces, firmly believing she can handle her emotions by herself. Not really a ticking time bomb in the usual crying way, but more in her temper. Really, do not piss her off.
APPEARANCE,
Cassie is a very attractive young woman, and it really is hard to believe she even enjoys combat with her petite frame and delicate appearance. Her form is fit and toned from her constant habit of exercising, and her lithe body holds a strength greater than some men due to her constant exercise regiment. Bright blue eyes that have appear to almost glow, and layered blond hair frames her face at a little longer than chin-length. Her height is above average for a woman at 5ft. 9in. Cassie prefers her clothing to be form fitting and easy to move in, though she hardly notices that she does show off her decent curves int the process. Her weight, well, is something she will never tell a living soul. [Even she is touchy about that.] Her main outfit consists of a tight, low necked black sleeveless top that ties in the front, ending above her midriff. Her jeans are skinny and are stylized with rips and tears all along the front. Knee length black boots that are buckled along the front consists of her footwear. Cassandra.
WEAPONS,
Automatic Crossbow An elegant silver crossbow with ornate designs along the bow of it, and toward the handle. When not in use, the bow is compact and easily stored across her back, but will release with a flourish at the push of the trigger. There is a chamber at the bottom where the bolts are stored, and this crossbow is rather deadly. It releases each bolt with the pull of the trigger, allowing for rapid fire. It's her pride and joy, so never, EVER touch it without her permission.
Daggers Bejeweled daggers that are hidden on the inside of her boots. The hilt of the dagger is inlaid with two rubies, and decorated with small pearls within the silver design. The sheath is designed in the same manner, and these are sharpened to perfection. Sharp, these daggers act as throwing knives when she finds herself without her crossbow, or quite useful for cutting herself out of sticky situations.
ITEMS,
Bolts Ebony hued bolts that are rather delicate if one takes the time to look at them. These inflict low damage when contact is made, and are able to be shot from a long range. The bonus is for that every two attacks she makes an extra level of damage is incurred.
ABILITIES,
Boltslinger Cassie's bullets are rather... unique. As horrific as it sounds, she occasionally uses bolts made from powdered bones of monsters she slayed, mixed with her own blood to create an extra kick. She has to use them sparingly, but they're quite scary when they hit. They cause moderate damage when contact is made. Another effect if a bolt hits is that it blocks magic flow for a short duration, and the bloodstream needs to get rid of the poison. Should a bullet hit, the victim is silenced for two posts. Can only be used five times per thread. [Five bolts.] Cooldown: Two posts.
Royal Guard For a brief moment, Cassie is able to conjure up a golden shield in front of her. This shield is easily as big as she is. The guard absorbs physical projectiles that can cause up to heavy damage. Should she use it and absorb any physical projectiles, and it will heal her for moderate health for the projectiles countered. Duration: 1 post. Cooldown: 3 posts.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Demonic Servant It's a long story on how this demon was subjugated into Cassie's service, but it does so with a grudging acceptance. Anyway, when Cassie's target has been hit with two of bolts from her crossbow, this little thing appears. Not particularly menacing in itself, but it's certainly not funny about what it does. It appears behind her opponent, and sends that rather haunting chill through them before dealing moderate damage in dark magic after the second bolt hits. It can be blocked by a magic shield if the opponent has summoned one.The demons soon dissipates afterward, but not without a cursory word aimed at Cassie. Honestly, the thing should be grateful she did not kill it. Summoned on the first post. Attacks on the second.
HISTORY,
Cassandra Sorel was born to two loving parents in the quaint village of Kakariko. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary there, but she was the twin to a certain Alexander Sorel. [The troll of all LoZ sites.] Of course, she had to have the luck of being born only three minutes after him, which he still lords over her nearly two decades later. Their family life was rather loving and guiding, and Cassie did not have an unhappy childhood. She loved her twin brother dearly, followed him around everywhere, and loved pestering him at every turn. Putting green hair dye in his shampoo, putting his hand in warm water, or placing itching powder in his clothes. Really, Cassie never listened well, and always tried to get her older twin into trouble. Their parents were privy to her antics, but at times it was that hard to tell who was telling the truth. Either way, Alexander still loved her, even if she was a perpetual pain in his arse.
There was one event that changed his demeanor toward her from being normal protective big brother to being obsessed with her never being left alone. Cassie had wandered away from her village to the Kakariko Gorge at night, which was certainly not one of her better ideas. It had been a dare from one of the other children in Kakariko, and she was certainly never one to back down from a challenge. The adults had warned her to never wander from the village without supervision, and never at night. Well, Cassie had never listened all that well to anyone, and she a lot more reckless back then. It had been going well enough, until the sound of hooves beating on the rocky ground startled the ten-year-old into fear. Bulbins had been running wild within the Gorge, and had spotted the young girl. With clubs swinging, and some with rather sharp knives, they converged upon the poor girl. Cassie went running as fast as she could back to Kakariko, but she had stumbled and fell in the dark of night. One Bulbin managed to reach her, and slashed his knife across her back, causing her to scream and pass out from the pain. Luckily, the adults had noticed her missing presence, and chased off the Bulbins. Needless to say, Cassie was left with an ugly scar on her back, a rather healthy hatred for Bulbins, and a raging overprotective twin brother.
The incident did traumatize for a few months, but she was soon back upon her feet like most children. It did cause her to be much more careful with her actions, and become more calculating in her manner. As they grew, Night hardly allowed her to have any fun that he considered 'dangerous' to her. It was annoying, overbearing, and frequently had her raging her infamous temper upon the poor male. Even when he was to be sent off to the military academy, Cassie admitted she would miss him dearly. With Alex gone to train, she took it upon herself to use this free time to train herself. Not wishing for what happened to her to happen to other children, she trained with range weapons to hunt down monsters that troubled innocent civilians. Becoming quite adept at the talent over the years, Cassie did leave home before Alex ever returned. Her parents had not liked the fact she was leaving, but could not stop her from doing so. Her travels lead her to meeting many new people, and Cassie enjoyed those she met.
She has recently helped found a group of Monster Slayers to protect those unable to defend themselves from rogue monsters. Someone has to, and she loved what she does very much. Who knows what else she will do with her time~?
EXTRAS,
She's Nightmare Darklight's fraternal twin sister. Honestly, they look identical that it's kinda scary. She's also bisexual, but leans more toward men.

Boltslinger You would need a limit on the amount of ammo for the automatic crossbow in relation to this. Silencing and all that is fine though.
Demonic Servant Is it possible to dodge the attack from this guy?

I'm good with that then, the post delay before it attacks allows for the opponent to attempt to react to it, even if it's behind them. I'll naturally assume you have Night's approval for other stuffs.
2/3 APPROVED!

Royal Guard is an uber defense. A shield that not only cancels out a physical and magical attack, but then also heals you? I call shenanigans.

Having it no longer block magical attacks is far more acceptable. If it was up to me, I'd still mod it more as healing abilities are always OP, but...
Accepted. Locked and moved.
