So yeah. I decided for Freyr to start a monster Hunter guild. Think of the series Monster Hunter, where guild members get requests to stop hostile monsters and thus use their skins, bones, hides, fangs, etc etc to sell or turn into greater weapons, armor, and items. But to do this I need four other founders willing to stick with the guild and not leave it a few days after it's made ಠ_ಠ
So- anyone interested?

Well, Joseph is interested, but he currently isn't accepted and he is a mage, so he would be more like an archer or a gunner, but he'd just use magic.

Yeah but I'm not sure where it should be. I decided to wait until we had more founders to decide on a base.

Ok! Three Founding members, so now time for BRAINSTORMING for our HEADQUARTERS!
All I can think of is that we need to have it fit the following requirements...
A. A Blacksmith place for making armor and upgrading weapons.
2. A location that's not so easy for those we don't want to find us to be able to find us.
Lastly. It needs to be big enough to hold members and raw materials for our weapons and armors as well as possible sleeping quarters.

I like that, but how about a place to eat. Like a canteen or mess hall? They can have cooks or something to prepare meals (NPCs of course). Also a place where they can train, like a room with straw dummies or something? Just throwing out suggestions.

A Guild Hall. Food, drinks, hangout and chat, compare battle-scars and monster trophies.
A Training Room. Filled with training dummies of different types of monsters and has targets for ranged hunters to shoot at. Maybe even a captured Monster or two for real training.
A Blacksmith. With a storage area. Come here to get upgrades on armor and weapons(as long as you can pay for them)
A Rest Area. Hammocks, beds, couches, and the likes for when ya just can't go on without sleep.

Why not use a constructed building out in the Ordana Province? Its small and well guarded by woods and typically remote. Ordana is a small area and if all goes well with the guild we could eventually ensure Ordana under our protection as long as they keep us concealed and stuff.
Not sure though, opinions?
Also, perhaps a library of sorts with information on monsters, so Guild Members can research their contracts focuses before heading out? Eventually I wouldn't mind making one here on the site so they could easily access it and consider it IC information so they aren't using Out of Character information to aid them.

BRILLIANT! And my dude is a plant(and sand) mage so the forest would be a grand place for all the defense that we need!
As for the library, everyone should work together on it and for all we know, we could be working on the Bestiary for the site as well lol.
So yeah, forest = win. Close to the Springs for when we get hurt and need healing/recovering.

Omg, I would love to join this with my OC Cassie. *~* She's not done yet, but I'll most likely be working on her tomorrow, since I'll have more free time once work is done.

Alright. 4 out of 5.
Anyway, about our Headquarters, do we want some sort of treehouse thing or would we be better suited to be within a cave in which we can do all of our things.

Why not an underground facility? If its underground, it could be accessed through a cave or something, and if it was underground, it could be as large as we possibly wanted. Although, not sure how that works.

Alright, now I am gonna sum up all the ideas we've had so far...
The Headquarters of the Monster Hunter Guild is hidden within the forests of the Ordana Providence within a cave that leads to an underground area. Within this large underground cavern there are a few places used for different things. In one area there is a vast collection of scrolls and books containing member known information on different monster types for those who wish to learn more about their marks. There is also an area exclusively for the blacksmith in which there is an area members can leave raw materials for future weapons or armor. Not to far from the blacksmith is a training area in which members can try out their new weapons on dummies, targets, or even spar with each other.
For those who wish to relax more there are still other places for them to go to. A mess hall which severs up a collection of different foods is filled with several long tables and chairs as well as a board in which jobs are placed up. Not to far from the mess hall there is a resting area, or barracks if thats more your style, filled with beds, hammocks, couches and other ways for one to simply relax and take a load off. There is also a large underground pool of fresh water, severing as a pool to those who want to enjoy water without the chance of being attacked by monsters. From there one can find their way up to the Ordana Spring where one's pain and fatigue can be washed away by the healing waters.
Whatcha think? Pretty good or no?
