"During my travels through the Desert Providence, I befriended a Gerudo by the name of Arkuun. Its been a while since we've spoke but she has recently sent a messenger to my location asking me for aid. Arkuun knew of my competence so she requested my talents to help hes village with a problem.
For the past month, the village has been attacked methodically by serpents of all sizes. Most of the snakes were small, no longer than a man is tall, which were easy for the village defenders to kill. However, more recently larger and more vicious serpents have been spotted getting in the village. The first loss was a young girl. One snake had buried itself in the sand and when the girl walked passed, it struck and dragged the child away. Since the first loss, four others have also been killed or went missing completely, one of them, a full grown warrior.
Arkuun has spoke with elders and the village has come to the conclusion that the snakes are under the control of Vucon, a monstrous sand serpent. I've fought this creature before, I even have the snakes left fang. It is clear that the attempt was a failure from years ago but I have vital information that will allow us to bring the creature down fast.
The only information they can give us is that the snakes come into the village from the west. They've sent a group scouts into the desert for where the serpents might be nesting. After losing two more women, one to monsters and one to dehydration, the group returned with minimal information, but its enough to start. There are clusters of caves far to the west that they believe to be the nesting grounds.
Since this is a favor and not a military order through the Hylian Knights, I refrained from recruiting Knights on this mission. However, if they wish to join of their own fruition, then so be it. I need a group of four others to aid me in this mission
As for rewards, Arkuun nor I can promise any riches or artifacts. But the desert hold a lot of unknown secrets. We may find items and treasures out there. Anything we find, we will split, if needed."
[Since this is a Member-led quest, I don't know if I can give out Rupees or items or anything but I'll talk to the admins to see if I can get something to give you guys if we finish and succeed.
