RACE,
Zora.
GENDER,
Dudette, broseph.
BATTLE ROLE,
Pacifist, unless Rutela is in danger... or her own life is in danger. She never starts fights.
BATTLE STYLE,
Casual & LS.
AGE,
Twenty-four.
ALLIANCE,
Neutral.
PERSONALITY,
• air headed • caring • clingy • clumsy • disaster prone • fidgety • insecure • mild-mannered • motherly • naive • sensitive • sweet • talkative
APPEARANCE,
As far as Zoras go, Theodora is pretty average. She has a more humanoid build to her. She is tall and gangly, with a small bust and barely any hips. One could even go so far as to say she's quite bony and thin. There are a few interesting features about Theodora that do make her stand out from the rest of her troupe. For one, her hair shimmers different colors in different types of lighting. Most of the time, it is a sea blue/green, with purple highlights and lowlights. When she moves her head, the colors turn prismatic and they shift as she moves. In brighter lit areas, her hair becomes more vibrant and colorful, adding in some yellows and reds to her hair. In darker areas, the colors in her hair become more pastel-like in hue. Her eyes are the same way. Her irises are normally a vibrant violet color, but when in the sunlight, indigos and blues mix in.
Unlike her kin, Thea does not possess a head fin. She does, however, have four iridescent fins. She has one on each elbow, and two more connecting at each calf. When out of the water, they look like pathetic pieces of flesh that just flop around. When she is nervous, she often grabs one of her calf fins and twirls it around. When she is in the water, the fins (obviously) fan out, and shimmer as light goes through them. They are translucent when they hit the water, which allows the light to flow through them and make them nearly invisible.
Theodora's sense of style is rather... odd. Especially for a Zoran woman. Most Zoras do not wear much clothing, but Thea can't get enough of it. Her pieces are always rather loose and do not hinder her ability to swim. She has multiple one-piece bodices, all of different colors, which she wears to cover her lady bits. To cover some of her arms (and some scales on her shoulders) she wears all different kinds of shrugs. Most have short sleeves, though she has some that go to her elbows, never any beyond that. For her lower half, she usually wears a short sarong that flows loosely from her hips. Thea can hardly ever be seen wearing shoes, but when she does, some pumps do just fine. Just like her hair, her clothing is always vibrant and colorful. She often wears jewelry made from the sea in her hair. Things like starfish hairclips to pieces of seaweed wrapped into an intricate flower, with a seashell in the middle.
Things Theodora never shows off are her scales. Her skin is a pale blue color, but her scales are a vibrant purple. While she absolutely adores her scales, she always covers them up because people have plucked them before. Ouch! Her scales are located on her hips, thighs, shoulderblades and chest area.
WEAPONS,
Just her blades, if she activates them.
ITEMS,
blast off bazooka Theodora is not meant to fight. She is not meant to be useful. However, she is in possession of one useful item... Useful to her, at least. If she were to ever get into a fight, or a sticky situation that she needs out of, then she can just use this! It is extremely heavy and made of durable wood, so she can't really aim it at anyone... meaning she won't ever shoot it at someone. So what's the purpose of it? While playing with it one day, she accidentally shot at the ground, and it sent her flying. Flying so far, she ended up in a completely different province than the one she was currently in. In short, it is an escape mechanism. Think of Team Rocket BLASTIN' OFF AGAAAAAAIN. This is essentially what she does. It takes one post to fire, and obviously since she leaves the thread in the same post, it is usable once per thread.
handy handbag Her bazooka is too large for her to carry, so what does this handy handbag do? It is a magical handbag that allows her to carry her bazooka, only as long as the bazooka is in there. It makes her bazooka nearly weightless until she pulls it out. The bag is the size of a small purse, but she is somehow able to fit it in there... That's why it's magical afterall. It is a bottomless bag. Aside from her bazooka, she keeps various goodies in her bag, like snacks and extra clothing.
ABILITIES,
None :3
RACIAL ABILITIES,
water dweller The Zora are most at home in the water, far more than any other creature. They are able to survive any sort of deep-water pressure, and can breathe water (or air), making them ideal swimmers. Furthermore, if they find themselves fighting in the water, they get an additional action slot. Outside of the water, they also have access to an electrical field, which can be used for attack or defense. They can activate the field at any time, which causes the opponent to take a level of damage whenever they get in-range of the Zora. Additionally, in the opponent’s next turn, their total number of action slots is reduced by one (for that turn only). While in water, the damage is raised by another level, and affects opponents who are out-of-range, as well. The field lasts for one turn, and has a cooldown of five posts.
HISTORY,
Theodora was born into the Zoran Royal Family, but she is not always treated as a royal member. Mainly because she doesn't want to be treated differently, but even if those views were different, nobody would take her seriously. The fact is, she is a cousin, not even a direct relative, of Queen Rutela herself. The two were never really close growing up, but Thea looked up to the beautiful Queen and wanted to do something good for her someday. While she was young, she lived a glorious life in the domain. Who wouldn't like a life of luxury? Being a royal family member had it's perks. She got to bask in the sun all day long. She could swim whenever she wanted. There were the ocassional history lessons and etiquette classes, normal royalty stuff, but it was never too boring.
As she grew older, Thea began to develop her own sense of being. She was not the pristine, elegant Zora that everyone expected her to be. Thea was exuberant and loved to explore. Her sense of adventure was high, and she always took risks, even if it meant the family's name was in jeopardy. She was a reckless little thing, and didn't care what people thought of her. Though her childhood was fun, there is one moment in particular that she wishes she could change, if only to brighten up her relationship with other members of the royal family.
Every royal family has a treasury, right? Thea always knew there was one hidden somewhere near their home, but she had never found it before. It was only when she was adventuring one day and she saw someone walk out of what seemed to be an empty cave. It was so obvious, but so hidden at the same time! Being her curious little self, she walked in and ogled all of the glorious treasure. As most kids do, she began to touch and play with all of the little magical trinkets. One such trinket was the bazooka she now possesses. Her curiosity got the best of her, so she tried it out. It was extremely heavy, and she ended up falling backward. During her fall, she activated the cannon and sent a shock of energy at the treasure. Most of it was destroyed. Thea herself was sent flying out of the cave due to the force of the shot. The ruckus called attention to the poor girl, who was being crushed by the heavy bazooka. Her entire family, her entire race, saw all the damage she had done. Rutela saw what she had done. Ashamed, Thea shoved the bazooka into her magical purse, and fled to hide herself and her purse so that it wouldn't happen again.
Though she did such a dreadful thing, Theodora was not really pusished. Most knew that she was an airhead and it was an accident, but her relationship with the rest of the zoras had changed. Most ignored her or talked bad about her, which was punishment in and of itself. Nobody knew where she had hidden her purse, so nobody could take the bazooka away from her. She spent a few years living in embarrassment, until her beloved cousin came to her personally and gave forgiveness. Since then, Thea has started to return to her normal, ADHD and disaster-prone self, but she is still extremely self-conscious about everything she does. She has made it her life's purpose to make up her wrongdoings for Queen Rutela's sake.
She was given the opportunity not too long ago. Queen Rutela was looking to hire a few more lieutenants from the family to help protect their part of Hyrule. Thea became a personal assistant for months, doing all the odd jobs and duties that nobody else wanted. She bugged Rutela constantly, wondering when she'd get the position. Finally, Rutela gave up and just gave her a position just so she'd leave her alone.
But Thea's purpose has not been fulfilled yet! With the new title in her name, Thea unearthed her hidden bag and bazooka, and set out on an adventure to make things right and do good deeds for Rutela. She is currently wandering around, looking for these "good deeds" to fulfill.
