It took all of Sey Sey's strength not to start squealing in a high-pitched tone, and breaking every window within the tavern. She felt like her innards were turning into mush to how sweet Aether was being to her. It didn't help matters when he placed his hand on top of hers to help reassure her that he meant every word that he said. This had to be a crime because it was killing her softly.
It would take a while before her cheeks start to cool down from the access amount of red that stained it at the moment. The poor dear couldn't imagine it getting any better than this, and she was glad she made the choice to go out with him today. Seyka agreed with him one hundred percent of the way~ This date was totally worth it.
The kitty minish wasn't exactly worried about what may come in the future. Her thoughts were so caught up in the moment that it really didn't matter to her. It had to be unhealthy to be smiling to much in front of one person like the way she was doing with the silver haired hylian. "I'm glad, Aether. It makes me happy to hear that," she spoke brightly. Seyka wanted to say that she liked him back as well, but the words choked up within her throat when she was ready to blurt it out. She caught herself for the moment realizing that it probably didn't mean the same way that he meant it when he said he liked her.
Oh~ Why was she getting insecure now?!
Her thoughts were taken off from her moment of doubt by his voice. Her magenta eyes perked up looking over to the elven male processing what he was asking her. Was she enjoying this? Did he mean the food? Or... possibly the date as a whole? She went with down the ladder unsure if she was making a stupid remark. "Uh-huh!" she mewed happily. "This has been a lot of fun. Especially for my first date!"

And that answer filled him with joy. The fact that she was in fact enjoying their date helped wipe out his doubts. So perhaps all that was left was to enjoy their lunch, and then what would they do? Where would they go? He certainly didn't what to part from his Seyka, not for a good while at least. He figured that he could have this extend from lunch to just enjoying the day together, maybe spending a couple more days in the mainland so he could spend some more time with Seyka. He was sure that Oceania could last that long without him, right? He wouldn't come back to see the whole thing in complete ruins, right? Well, it couldn't hurt to ask her, right? She was already enjoying this first date, so it would be best to ask while she was having fun. His hand slipped under hers, while his other placed itself where the first was. Her ivory skin was soft, causing his face to flush just a bit from the interaction. "Seeing as you are having a good time..." Aether started. He wasn't really sure how to ask this. Not to mention that if he asked this wrong, she might take it the wrong way. Then again, how in the world could he ask this wrong? Or ask it and seem like a creeper? Now that he thought about it, he couldn't figure out a way. His eyes darted to the side for a brief moment before he corrected himself, moving them back to the kitty. "Well, I was wondering, seeing as I don't have to go back for a few days... if you wouldn't mind I'd like to stay with you until I go back." He requested. He'd understand if she said no, she might have been busy, and couldn't really take the time to spend a few days, but it wouldn't hurt to ask, right?

In a way, this date was like an adventure, you never really knew what you're getting yourself into. For the most part, that mysterious aspect has made it exciting, and she liked the discoveries that unfolded on this little trip she's been on with Aether. Sure, it only seemed like a few days, but Sey Sey learned a lot. Plus, it also helped the fact that he had plenty of time to spare since he's visting the mainlands. She certainly hoped that his trip here was worthwhile, because the kitty was absolutely positive that she enjoyed his company quite a lot. Then again it didn't take much for the poor girl to get attached once she's given her trust out to those she's interacting with. Especially with the amount of time she's spent with Aether as it was.
Seyka lowered her magenta eyes over to Aether's hands as one laid underneath her palm whilst the other blanketed the top of her hand. If this was an anime segment, there would be steam flying out of her ears, and her cheeks would explode from the amount of red that stained her porcelain cheeks. She was that tensed that she nearly missed the first part of the question he initiated in asking her. She shook her head quickly before averting her attention fully on what the hylian wanted to say to her.
What could have caused him to be hesitant with his question, she wondered. She tilted her head slightly to the side now really curious as to what it was he wanted to ask. She didn't have to wait long before his eyes returned back to her, and he came out, and just said what he needed to say. Her magenta eyes lit up brightly as her kitty cat ears perked up with shock. The cat girl could have sworn that her heart took a leap out of her stomach, and nearly popped out of her chest from hearing those sweet words from Aether. "A-Are you sure about that, Aether?" she stuttered a little, "You really want to be with me until you have to go back?"
A part of her was concerned that he may find adventuring with the cat girl boring. Then again she didn't like the idea of knowing that his time here in the mainlands was limited. It left her little chance to think if she let him go now then she felt she'd regret it later on. While there was that inkling of doubt shadowing over her Seyka still knew deep in her heart that she didn't want to let him leave. "If you're sure about it, I'd love for you to stay with me," she admitted sheepishly. She lowered her head a bit shyly.

Was he sure? Of course he was sure! He wouldn't have asked her if he was sure. Though, it was nice of her to make sure that he was indeed ok with it. There were some who would've just jumped on it without making sure he was sure about it, which would've become awkward if he had been joking, or if he immediately started having second thoughts, but such was not the case with Seyka. Rather, he just nodded and gave her a bright smile. "I'm sure." She was arguably the best person he had come across in a long, long time. Considering where he lived, it was always a wonderful thing to meet someone who was actually a good person. But when she said that she would love it, that was all he needed to hear. And it took all he had to not jump up and start laughing a bit. He loved how well this was going, how well they were getting along. It also surprised him how fast this had gone. From what he knew, you were supposed to wait a while, get to know someone, perhaps know them for months or even years before making a move. But such a thing was unnecessary between the two of them. They seemed to hit it off rather quickly, and it made things all the better. To Aether, he was certain that the fact they had gotten along so quickly meant that hopefully things would be rather happy. So where was he going to stay though? Aether by this point had completely forgotten about the meal and instead was wondering what he was going to do now. Did she have a home? Or was she a traveler? Either way, he wouldn't mind in the end, so long as he was spending time with his little kitty girl. "So do you have a home? Or are you a nomad? I was just wondering where we were going to go after this is all." He inquired. He hoped that he wasn't being intrusive or asking a rude question. But he figured he should know~

So that settles it. From this day forward, Seyka would have a traveling partner journeying across Hyrule with her. It was almost too good to be true as she bit her lower lip softly. Her fangs pinched her skin waking her out of her 'died and went to heaven' state of mind. One could only imagine - no wait, you couldn't imagine it, because it was unfathomable of how joyful the kitty minish was to hear his reassurance. It was too much to resist as she let out a cry of glee, which drew a few eyes on over to their table. The room quickly went quiet for a second or two, before Seyka realized what she did, and instantly lowered her head. Blush dusting her cheeks~ That won't cool off any time soon.
This turned out to be a major success, and she didn't want this streak of good luck to end. She was having way too much fun enjoying his company, and it would have been a shame to let it all end so soon. Aether reminded the cat girl that for as long as he's visiting, then she wouldn't be alone for the time being. She was going to use that to her advantage, and engage in getting to know him better. Sey Sey scratched the back of her head softly before raising her head up to calm herself down. It was rather difficult to keep from getting over-excited.
"Yes, I do actually," she smiled softly, "I live in the Ordona Province south of here. My home lies within the Minish Forest, but I tend to live like a nomad." She scratched the back of her head softly at the admittance. It was nothing but the honest truth, she lived her life like a nomad despite the fact that she did have a home in the Minish Forest. She found it was much more enjoyable to expand her horizons or so to speak, learning about the lands around her. Not to mention getting to meet all kinds of people along the way too. In fact, it was exactly how she came about stumbling across Aether~

He had to admit, it was adorable when she squee'd. So Seyka did indeed have a home, but according to her, she never really used it. Rather, she preferred the life of a nomad, just wandering around and enjoying her life, letting the winds direct her, and her feet guide her. He could respect that. In fact, he rather admired that. If he himself ended up enjoying wandering, and she also enjoyed it, then there wouldn't be any conflict on the matter. If they wanted to stay someplace, then they could, but if they wanted to travel together, then there was no problem with that. He had to admit, it was a rather nie deal, and it was getting all the better. Aether was glad that Seyka was enjoying his company. He was curious as to whether she would want to take things any further with him, or have a nice little lunch and this date be the only time they really did anything romantic together. He would like to be able to go out with her again sometime, and heck, maybe even develop a nice relationship. He figured as long as she stayed out of Oceania, then she wouldn't get in trouble for his actions. After all, if he did start dating her, they couldn't target her if she wasn't in the area, right? Although he wanted to say something sweet. Something that would get the minish blushing again. He liked it when she blushed, it had a sense of innocence, of purity, and it gave him the feeling that maybe things between them could grow, and that there wasn't any sense of hiding. Not to mention that it was just cute. But, he wanted to mean what he said. It wouldn't matter if she blushed if he didn't mean what he said. So he just decided to pick something from his heart. That would come across as sweet, right? "I wouldn't worry about it. I'm staying here the rest of my trip just to stay with you. So even if we're traveling the whole time, I don't mind as long as I'm with you." He smiled, speaking softly in a polite tone.

Perhaps it was because of the animal in her made her a bit nomadic~ Tree lionesses required large amount of land within their territory in order to live comfortably, and in this case, being a lioness Minish, she tended to stretch that with the whole traveling aspect. Not only that but her natural wanderlust, and there in lack of a long attention span couldn't allow her to stay in place for long. She actually enjoyed the concept of being able to enjoy, and experience things because it makes the adventure more personal. It was something that she would have for the rest of her life, and when she could no longer travel perhaps in the later future, she would have stories to tell to others. She'll be damned if those stories wouldn't be interesting to tell to say the least~
The little dear wore her heart on her sleeves so from a third person perspective, she didn't know what she wanted to do, and her innocent heart couldn't make up its mind. However what she saw right in front of her brought her great joy so she didn't see the problem of trying to take a chance. Sey Sey really was the type of girl, if you would ask her if she'd like to, she could learn to belong to another. She's always loved the concept of romance, and the possibility of finding a potential partner out there.
However, she thought about their current status as it is, they barely even know each other. Nothing develops that quickly no matter how interested you could be with someone. Did this mean she should wait it out so that she was positive this wasn't a passing phase, right? The poor kitty was totally confused. Her mind was objecting otherwise to taking things in a more progressive manner, but her heart just wanted to stay with him. That wasn't wrong, was it? She didn't think so. Oh~ The cat girl could only hope that she wasn't too much of a ditz to be with!
Aether didn't make things any easier either. His words made her want to go crazy! It took all that she had within her strength not to jump over the table and glomp him. Oh Goddesses, this was quite hard to resist from reaching new levels of ludicrously adorable~ A small blush stained her cheeks scarlet, and it burned brightly against her face, she was beginning to feel a bit dizzy. However, she wanted to know something before she concluded the topic at hand. "So as long as you're here," she started, "Do you promise you won't abandon me?"

The Hylian simply watched as her face flared up again. He was having too much fun with this. Was it cruel that he was actually enjoying all of this? He figured that it couldn't be too mean to get her flared up, right? After all, he did genuinely mean what he said, so it couldn't be that mean, it was just a reaction from her from what he truthfully meant! Yeah, that was it, and that was what he would keep telling himself for teasing her, regardless of the fact that he actually did mean it. He only hoped that the Goddesses wouldn't consider reserving a special place in hell for playing with her. He blinked at her question though. That was something he genuinely had not expected to ever hear from her lips. His gaze went soft as he realized that there was something else behind this, something that went on a much deeper level. He reached a hand behind her head, and gently stroked her lavender locks. He couldn't really prove anything just yet, but the very least he could do was try and be reassuring for her. "Seyka, I promise you, I will not abandon you. That is a promise, remember it." He may have sounded a little redundant, but he wanted Seyka to know that under no circumstance would he ever just up and abandon her. Aether had to wonder why she would actually be concerned about him abandoning her, or why she even had to ask that. Of course, he would never abandon her as that just wasn't how he was. Not to mention to do that to Seyka would be cruel. But what really worried him was that she had brought it up before. It sounded like that she had issues with abandonment. Perhaps someone else she loved left her, or her parents had abandoned her? Aether wasn't entirely sure, and he wouldn't dare bring up such a touchy subject with Seyka. He wouldn't dare risk ruining this otherwise perfect day with such a personal question.

Despite getting all riled up, it was easy to see that the adorable little minish girl didn't mind the playful mirth they created in the bar. It brought ease to the kitty that they could be this playful toward one another, and not drive each other crazy... or at least not yet. Seyka couldn't pinpoint any possible drawbacks that could turn her away from Aether. Then again, she was more accepting than most people were regardless of how well she knew them. She was just that type of person who liked to make friends than she did enemies.
Aether was right to a certain degree. There was something else behind the question she asked, but she wouldn't go into full detail about. She would no doubt explain herself in due time, but it was just something she needed to know so she could convince herself otherwise, this was worth taking the risk. That if her feelings proved true to her heart entirely then it was worth the chance she needed to prove herself that she would be by his side. Seyka didn't suffer any thing extreme, but she did have one aspect per se of autophobia, and that was the fear of abandonment. Losing her parents at an early age did quite a bit on her.
She couldn't stand to be alone for long periods of time. She hated being lonely. Seyka didn't want to be alone. Though what she couldn't stand the most was the thought of committing to something important only to be left behind. Nothing felt worse than to have someone disappear so suddenly out of your life, and never see them again.
Seyka was taken out of her pensive thoughts when she felt Aether's hands stroke the back of her head. Her magenta eyes flickered brightly as she stared up at the gypsy-like Hylian. Her feline ears perking up softly hearing his promise. The cat girl could feel her heart fluttering within her chest, and it embarrassed her to bits and pieces. Why? The silly little girl was worried to death that Aether could notice her rapid pulse somehow. Instinctively, she nuzzled his hand returning back that bright smile of hers. "Thank you, Aether," she meowed.

Aether was glad that he at least reassured her, comforted by her head nuzzling itself into his hand. Her gratitude brought a smile to his face. He didn't want to abandon her. He had no reason to, he had no need to, and he had no desire to. The only thing he was unhappy about was the fact that he would have to go back to Oceania, and he wouldn't let her come with him. Though in return, he could see himself making man more visits to the mainland, just to pay her a visit. After all, he promised he wouldn't abandon her, right? That meant he would be back soon. He figured that if things went as well as they did, then she wouldn't wait long to see him again. Now that he had made his promise, he wondered if they should stay here, or maybe if they should go touring the town for a bit, maybe find a nice spot to just enjoy each other's company. Yes, lunch together was nice, but in a way, he wanted to try and see if he could find a bit of a romantic spot, spend some time together without any interference. Even if it was something as simple as just sitting together and talking, that was something that he could be ok with. After all, if they were going to be dating, then they should undoubtedly have some moments where they closed off the world and just stayed with the other. Though now he was figuring that it might just be time to leave this place, after paying for the check of course. Though really, that was up to Sey. Aether wasn't all that hungry, but Seyka had been devouring everything earlier, so she still might be hungry. But it wouldn't hurt to ask. "So is everything ok? Have you had enough to eat? Or is there anything else you would like to have?" He politely inquired. He wanted to make sure that she was happy, so if it meant waiting a little longer, then he didn't really mind something like that. After all, it still gave him more time with her.

The cat girl adored his smile. She didn't have the ability right now to explain it exactly but it just lifted her spirits up to see such a bright expression painted across his face. Smiling was like an addiction, and once you started it, it was impossible to quit it~ Just as Aether didn't have the desire to abandon the kitty minish, Seyka didn't want to have him leave her, regardless of what may come their way.
Sey Sey looked down on over to her plate the second he asked that question before returning her eyes back on over to him. She shook her head softly feeling that the meal was enough to get her through the rest of the date, and there were other places to view. Was it too much too soon for her to be thinking she wanted to find a nice spot just for the two of them to relax, and spend time together, alone? In the back of her head, she was running around in circles, giggling like a high school girl who just announced to the world she was going to the prom with her crush. The mentality~
"I think I'm good for now," she answered, "If you're done as well, let's pay the bill, and check out the rest of the town, shall we?" The little kitty gathered her belongings eagerly, and dug through her backpack for her wallet. When she found it, she took out a few rupees, and laid them out on the table, leaving a tip for the kind waitress who handled their food most graciously for them. Her tail wagged back and forth in perfect rhythm as she smiled on over back to Aether excited with what would be next on their agenda~
Happy kitty was happy~

Aether nodded. "I'm done." He spoke in a quiet tone. Really, he didn't need to eat all that much, he was just glad to be with his Seyka. It still felt weird to him to consider her that, to consider her his Seyka. What if something went wrong and she didn't want to continue on afterward? Aether was getting so caught up in these thoughts that he hadn't really noticed the waitress coming back, and only really came back to reality when she spoke for a moment. He nodded again, reaching into his pockets to grab some rupees, only for that to change somewhat when he noticed the kitty. He choked up for a moment as Seyka reached in her bag and pulled out several rupees to pay for the meal. There was no need for her to do that, he was more than willing to pay for their lunch. Now he felt bad, but he would try to shove it down, at least for his kitty. "I could've paid if you would have preferred that." He did however, inform her. He could at the very least pay her back for that if she so desired. In fact, he felt tempted to try and pay her back right there, but he felt that Seyka wouldn't really have it here in the bar, so he figured he could go for it later. Aether rose from his seat regardless, and took a few steps over to his date. Reaching out, he just pet her a little bit more before he pulled his hand away, instead lowering it a little. He was inviting her to come with him. He had an idea of where they were going to go after this. The capital was massive, surely what he was looking for would be here, right? "What... would you think about going to a play with me?" He suggested. Granted, not everyone liked plays, so there was the chance she might not be for it. Which was why he was asking in the first place, so he at least knew where to go with her.

That was quite a peculiar thing about Aether that the kitty minish didn't quite get. He didn't eat much~ What made it extremely confusing was the face that he seemed rather well-toned for someone who ate like a bird. Perhaps that was his lifestyle back in Oceania. Rather than eating decent sized meals three times a day, he ate small portions, but plenty enough to sustain his active lifestyle by the sea. Either way, she wasn't going to argue with him about what was healthy, and what wasn't~ Aether probably had a better understanding of his system than the Sey would ever come to understanding.
Seyka smiled when he noticed her paying for the meal. She shook her head softly as her lavender locks followed the motions of her head. The little picori girl didn't mind handling the bill. "Don't worry about it," she mewed. Raising up a hand to scratch behind her ears as she rose from her seat, and placed her backpack back over her shoulders.
Was it a bad thing that she liked being petted by Aether? Probably not. She perked up her dark feline ears at the mention of going to see a play with him. She placed one of her small claws on her lower lip to give it a moment in thought.
"As long as it's a comedy then I'm game," she agreed, but made her conditions known, "And this time you can pay for the tickets, fair enough?" Seyka was a very clever negotiator when she needed to be. She scooted herself on over closer to him, and linked her hand with his eager to get going. She expressed such notions with a gentle tug~

It was a deal. Yes, she had paid for the meal, but he could make it up by paying for the play, that was something that he could definitely do. Not to mention that he figured that the play might end up being a bit more expensive than the meal, so he would feel better. At least he hoped that it would be more expensive. He felt that he was making it up to her somewhat, but he still would feel a little rotten if it turned out that she covered most of the date. "I could go for a comedy." A comedy sounded nice. He was more of a fan of tragedy, but he didn't mind some comedy every now and then. However, Seyka tugged at him a little, making it clear that they needed to go. The two left the bar and made their way up the steps. Aether was admittedly enjoying all of this. Maybe in a way, he was a child at heart, but he didn't really mind. Now all he had to do was find out where these plays were being held. That was the problem, he was more than willing to go along with it, but he still didn't really know the layout of Hyrule, much less its capital, so he was still just a little lost in this field. Honestly, he only hoped that he wouldn't end up getting so lost that they would miss it. Then again, he kind of needed to know the times for that to even work out, now didn't he? Aether bit his bottom lip in annoyance. It was time to admit defeat. It was time to admit that he had been bested by the combination of time and lack of geographical knowhow. He let out a sigh as he turned to Seyka. "I... have no idea where to go." He mumbled in an embarrassed tone. It was embarrassing! He didn't even know the capital, the largest place in Hyrule. It was nothing short of humiliating.

Seyka was actually quite excited to see a play. Then again it wasn’t that hard to entertain the kitty minish. Due to her simple mind, it didn’t take a lot to make her laugh, so perhaps it would do her some good to get a giggle or two from this. She had to resist squealing like a crazed lunatic who got her paws on catnip or something along those lines. There was a lot of urges she had to fight off – among them is the sheer instinct of wanting to run around in circles flailing like a drunken fool.
Don’t ask. Sey Sey tended to care for a lot of rambunctious thoughts, and actions. Some tend to slip while others were just passing thoughts tempting to be committed. She only smiled softly clinging onto Aether growing rather affectionate with him. She hoped she wasn’t pushing any boundaries. You know, the whole too much, too soon kind of deal? For the most part, it would seem that the two of them were taking the day quite well.
Her kitty cat ears perked up however when she heard him admit defeat. Her magenta eyes flickered brightly as she let out a small giggle. Poor thing~ She didn’t want him to lead them in the wrong direction, and they ended up getting lost in the city. “That’s fine,” she paused her giggle fit, “Let’s hurry so we don’t miss the opening act~”
With that said, Seyka took the lead this time, and directed them to Castle Town’s theater building. It was a bit of a walk, but an enjoyable one at best, being that she was half-tugging, half-dragging the silver haired Hylian with her~ Did we forget to mention Seyka was quite excited~?
As they made their arrival to the theater, the feline minish allowed Aether to cover this time around for the two of them. She was quite happy to find out that they made it just in time to nab their tickets before the show starts.
