Perhaps her eagerness to have him stop talking had not been the best reaction on her part, but it had certainly got her point across. No, this was not her first kiss, but perhaps it was in more of an intimate sense. Aerith had not meant to attack him in her desire to finally kiss him, but it appeared that it had worked to her advantage~! Her heart skipped a few beats as he returned her kiss, and a relief blossomed through her entire body. This meant that he cared for her back, and she could see herself mentally twirling about in her victory. Vriska had been right all along! She was quite glad to have taken her friend's advice, and hoped she had witnessed Aerith's moment of triumph. Well, perhaps that was going a little far, but she just felt too happy right now to care. His hand had moved to the small of her back, pressing her closer. A small sigh of pleasure escaped her lips, and her eyes opened slightly. Oh, was it over already? Or had it been eternity?
A rosy blush dusted across her cheeks, and she smiled at the sight of Rwaht's grin. That was certainly a good sign, and she was still relieved that everything was going well. Icy eyes sparkled brightly, her brow quirking at his rather sarcastic remark. He better have meant himself with that statement! Giggling lightly, she merely smiled mischievously up at him. "I already have what I want," she remarked sweetly. Aerith was happy that this night was going so well, and now she would no longer have to drive herself insane with the constant questions of her emotions and Rwaht's. Being sure that he felt the same was wonderful, and she could not regret that embarrassing incident any longer. Everything did happen for a reason, right~? The two of them continued to dance, and she did not move her gaze from his, quite content with this moment as it was.
Another blush dusted her cheeks lightly, twirled about idly By Rwaht. Yes, she had planned the night up to the kiss, but she had not thought about much after that. She was more worried about his reaction, but she was quite surprised that he had taken the initiative to ask her out on a date. A bright smile crossed her lips, and she soon slid her arms around his neck, more intimately than she had before. "I would love to," she answered. Aerith could not remember the last time she had been this excited, and it certainly made her happy to see a genuine smile upon Rwaht's face. He did not do so often, and she treasured the action every time he did.

Rwaht smirked, and grinned at Aerith when she spoke.
"Don't tell me that's all you want. Always have something to aspire to, that's my motto," he said, and it was only a little sarcastic, which for him may as well have been a personal epiphany. Sarcasm was like his oxygen: he lived it, breathed it, and ejected a less pleasant version of it quite frequently. He was smiling, though, which was equally astonishing. Normally Rwaht smiling triggered panicked reactions, much screaming, and cries of "I di'n't do it, I swear!" He was in a good mood. He kept dancing with Aerith, moving in time with the other dancers, by now having picked up the more rudimentary steps involved.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little tired of ballrooms. Or more specifically, the abundance of people inhabiting said ballrooms. How about we get out of here for now?" He was still smiling. it was an extremely rare sight.

Aerith merely smiled a little mysteriously at his remark, because the young woman had quite a lot that she was aspiring for. Perhaps she was getting a little too far ahead of herself, but she certainly hoped this blossoming relationship would progress nicely. Rwaht certainly meant a lot to her, and it was not so bad falling for her best friend. No one knew her better than he did, barring Vriska. Aerith hoped that she knew him better than most, since he so rarely smiled for anyone else. If he did, it was certainly not the smile he was giving her now. No, this one was just for her, and she would treasure it dearly. "No, it's certainly not, but I think I'll keep my aspirations to myself for now," she teased. Icy eyes sparkled brightly, quite impressed by how quickly he had learned the steps. Well, he certainly was always quick to learn what he needed, and she stopped her thoughts before they took a turn for the worse. Blushing slightly, Aerith smiled warmly up at Rwaht.
Her head tilted to the side, blinking at his remark. Leave the ball? Part of her wished to stay, since she had not fully appreciated the sights the Castle had to give, but the better part of her wanted to be along with Rwaht. "Where you lead, I'll follow," she answered. Slowing the dance down, she glanced around them. So many people lost within their own worlds, and she wondered where they should go. Honestly, Aerith merely wished to go back home with him. Home meant either her own house, or within his house. She had certainly stayed there enough times, but it felt different this time. Smiling sweetly, she motioned for Rwaht to lead the way for where they should go next.

Rwaht smiled, somewhat suspecting what was going through Aerith's mind.
"Tell you what. We can come back and see the castle any time. Perk of being one of the guys with a big title." He left the ball, feeling far more content than usual. Things had gone well tonight. Hopefully they would in nights to come, as well.
[EXIT for Aerith and Rwaht]
