Animus is a well-built young man with a natural tan tone to his body. He stands at an unremarkable 6'2" and his body has often been described as strong and sturdy, rather than buff. His features are fine and angular with a slightly more of a clean shaven appearance than he's completely happy with. However he's been given many compliments over them and so has accepted it as something he cannot change. His head is crowned with wild long black hair that is long enough to hang down in his eyes and past his ears.

His eyes are a dark shade of red that vary in shade from darker to lighter depending on the way the light hits them. His eyes are heavily lashed giving him the appearance of an extremely dark liner around his eyes when it really is only his lashes framing his eyes. The shape of his eyes give him the constant determined look. As for clothing it rarely varies with Animus but he's most likely to be seen wearing his Hylian Knight armor, but will switch it up pending on the occasion.

WEAPONS,

• Oblivion's Blade - Animus's trustworthy blade. He handles it with the utmost skill. Statistically, this blade doesn't enhance anything and is used for his main weapon for attacking.
  
  
• Oblivion's Pistol - Animus also carries with him a pistol that he uses to dispose of lighter foes. It, like the sword, does not provide any help statistically.
  

ARMOR,

• Hylian Knight Equipment
  All magical damage the Hylian receives when wearing his armor is decreased by one level. The armour also decreases damage dealt by Darkness or Shadow magic by an additional half a level. Any light-based magic attack is increased by half a level in damage.

ITEMS,

ABILITIES,

• Hylian Rage - Due to Animus's natural heritage, he is a natural warrior. Hylian blood flows throughout his entire body and when he gets damaged to 5 or below health points, he can activate this ability. Hylian rage boots his attack power in hope to help him survive the fight.
  
  • Effect: Boosts attack by 1.5 [Low to Heavy]

• Essence of Hyrule - Animus has discovered the ability to heal himself or others. Being a Hylian this is a very important ability seeing how more often than not they are in battle.

Magic Superiority

• Magical Guardian: All magical damage the Hylian receives is lowered (decreased by a half-level), and they gain access to a Magic Block, which mimics the regular block save that it blocks magical damage instead of physical. While using Magic Block, all damage received that turn is treated as magical damage.

HISTORY,

Animus was born into a pretty wealthy Hylian family. Where they lived was mostly beautiful gardens and such with a small pond and a small combat quarters. Animus was found there more often than not, he wanted to be just like his father, a knight. He showed great potential as a fighter and his dad was proud. His mother wasn't too found of this path of a warrior, but she didn't force him to do anything he didn't want to. One night their home was invaded by Gerudos. They were ruthless killing people and showed no mercy. The local Hylian Knights held them off for a while but were eventually outmatched. Finally after a few days of fighting, the defense system fell and the home was taken over by a group of Gerudos. Animus's dad Vincent was killed by a Gerudo soldier after denying an order. After his fathers death, he had only his mother. They were assigned cleaning duties to the newly innovated home.

Animus was about 5 years old when he finally deiced he was going to join the Hylian Knights and get revenge. Of course he wouldn't be accepted in at such a young age, but when he grew older he would prove his worth. Such sudden desire happened when his mother, LuLu, got into an argument with one of the Gerudo captors. She was taken from Animus right in front of his eyes. Following this tragic event, Animus was always giving the Gerudos death stares, no matter what he was doing. Eventually they got fed up with it and was ordered to permanently dispose of the kid. They tormented and tortured the boy until he was rendered helpless. Animus was then thrown into a small, dark, damp, and lonely dungeon to die.

He spent weeks there using his own will power to survive. Occasionally, one Gerudo thief would come down into the dungeon and feed Animus. After a while the thief known as, Serah, would help the boy escape the dungeon and took to caring for him. This is where he learned the ways of the Gerudo, and also adapted to their appearance. Hearing of his disappearance, the Gerudos who took over his home came and looked for him. They infiltrated Serah's home in hoped to find Animus. However, the boy was long gone. Upset with the news, the invaders killed Serah, one of their own, without remorse.

Years have now passed since the events and destruction of Animus's home and the Hylian finds himself living in the Lanayru Province. He has changed his apperance from a Gerudo thief back to his natural heritage, a Hylian Knight. Till this day, Animus is searching for the Gerudos who attacked his home, killed his dad, killed his mentor, and caused his mothers disappearance.
