(quest) call to arms !

Jakku had readjusted his gauntlet after punching that ruffians lights out when he noticed the golden cucco that had appeared. He had never seen such a thing before in his life. Such a majestic looking thing it was to the Goron Elder, he had to get close up to it and pet it. He dashed over as fast as his stubbly legs could take him (which wasn't that fast mind you). You could see a child-like sparkle in the Gorons eyes as he fixated himself at the golden cucco.

As he drew close by he saw from the corner of his eye one of the remaining ruffians pulling out a interesting looking device that he hadn't seen before. He pulled the trigger and two loud exploding sounds came out of it. This surprised the Goron Elder quite a bit, that small looking thing made a noise similar to a cannon blast. He fired two shots at the fairy girl then turned his aim over at the cucco.

Without a second thought, Jakku turned his entire back side into metal and stood in front of the golden cucco with his back turned towards the ruffian, widened his arms out and attempted to take the rounds himself.

He looked down over at the cucco. "Go on now, get out of here-goro!"

[Action- "Rushed" over to the area where the Golden Cucco was at. Used Allomancy to block pistol shots.]

[Ayameru]

Aya couldn't help herself, and snickered. That was priceless! At least it was a girl who did it instead of the Goron.

"Oh crap!" she squeaked. Looks like he didn't like that little stunt~ Aya staggered backwards before tripping over something from behind missing the bullets by sheer luck. Her heart began pounding within her chest calling a close one there. With a small sigh of relief, she quickly got back up to her feet, before raging at the stupid thief for shooting at her.

With her energy coming back to her again, Aya began conjuring up a fireball within her hand. Firelight eyes looked back over to the Ruffian, and chucked a fiery fastball on him. "Annnnnnnd here's the pitch!" she announced like an MC.

Summary. Clumsy Aya was clumsy, tripped and missed getting shot, then chucked a fireball at Ruffian A.

Clucking several times, it pecked at the stone floor, then stooped its head up to look at the strange creature that was approaching and speaking to it. If the bird understood, it didn't oblige to Jakku's words, and remained where it was. If anything, perhaps it was looking for something, but because it was a bird, there was no real way of knowing what it wanted. Simply that it was just there, and not leaving despite the obvious dangers. Meanwhile, while the girl slipped and avoided said danger, Ruffian A expelled a curse from his mouth, but had quickly been able to gather himself together to a staggering stance, just as the Fairy was to attack with the fire. At this, he smiled, for he was a Hylian, and a Hylian with a boosted magical defense (see: races/hylian/magical guardian). The fire didn't scare him. Brushing himself off, the ruffian dug his hands within the folds of his clothes, one hand drawing what appeared to be a small dagger, swiping his arm to strike back at the fireball, and, using his magic block, slashing it to nothing. Though a small burn would smear his fingers and knuckles, it was something he could ignore. "Foul ball!" He played on her words, and immediately revealed and flicked the wrist of his other hand, a set of three small throwing knives sending back in retaliation to the girl. Ruffian A used his racial to deflect Ayameru's attack (via pulling a dagger), then proceeded to throw three knives at her.

Jakku could see that his brave new friend wasn't about to let some cowardly ruffian scare it away. The Goron blacksmith saw this admirable act of bravery and acknowledged the brave Cucco. But it couldn't fight this hooligan alone. It was now up to Jakku to fight this battle for the Cucco. He turned his head over to where the Hylian ruffian was standing digging into his pockets.

"Don't worry my friend. Big Brother Jakku will take care of this guy for you-goro!"

Jakku took out his Goron hammer and rushed towards the ruffian just as he was throwing a set of daggers at the fairy girl. It seemed as though her last attack had no effect on the Hylian. If Jakku recalled, Hylians were experts in magic defense so it was obvious that this ine could protect himself from such an attack.

"Well then lets see you try and defend against this attack-goro!!!"

As he came into close range Jakku swung his hammer horizontally straight at the side of the ruffians head. There was enough force in it that if he missed his body would simply spin back around and try it again. If the ruffian had backed away from even that, Jakku would use the momentum and throw the hammer right at him.

[Action - Rushed at the last ruffian and attacked with Jakkus main weapon]

[Ayameru]

Aya swore audibly watching the Hylian bandit take out her magical attack like a candle in the wind. She completely forgot they had a trump card in magic, and paid for it when he retaliated. Raising her blade up, she prepared herself for the incoming projectiles, taking out two of the three, but the third nicked her right arm. She winced slightly from the impact, but quickly ignored the flesh wound. Just as she was about to go in to finish the ruffian off for good, Jakku made her pause in her tracks, offering to take out the pest that was giving her a hard time.

"I can't let you take all of the credit," she protested before raising her sword, and sped fast the Goron to get on the opposite end of the bandit. With her sword coming from above, she swung her blade down before curving up to a diagonal slash. She tried synchronizing her timing at the same time with Jakku's assault to double team the last of their foe.

Summary. Got stabbed by one of the knives, ignored it. Assisted Jakku in taking out the final apprehension. Double team finish~ *failz*

Fireball. 1/3

Falling back from his own move, Ruffian A quickly stepped back, ducking his head at the same time to dodge the swing, and long enough to dodge the second, but he did not expect the weapon to be released. Nor did he expect the Fairy girl to dive in for a sudden double team either, and with the confusion, he could not hold his footing. Ayameru's first slash caught him at his shoulder, a clean slash as he attempted to spun around, just in time to catch the second slash with his arm, taking even more damage as a splay of crimson revealed itself. At this same time, Ruffian A had been attempting to move out of the way of the projected hammer, but was only able to do so enough to get struck in the shoulder rather than in full force by Jakku's hammer, but that was more than enough, as the ruffian lost balance and staggered, falling to the ground headfirst. It was probably for the best to count him down and out for the count on a possible concussion. Ruffian A did some fancy footwork but ended up losing anyways. Poor guy. A still silence followed afterwards, disregarding the clucking bird, now traversing towards the duo without much care. It would appear that there was no one else around to take out, the party of bandits put out of commission. Though pretty battered now, the stone-lined room was actually rather empty, with a few barrels of what can be assumed to be rum lying here and there, and a single door at the back.

Now with the quick defeat of the small group Jakku could focus on taking care of the ones that had ran off. The golden cucco was now safe and sound. Jakku picked up the cucco and smiled as he gently petted the cuccos odd colored feathers.

He walked over to the girl who had helped him in the fight. "You did quite well little lady. What's your name-goro?" Since they didn't get to really introduce themselves correctly it seemed like a good time while they prepared for the next fight.

"In case you didn't hear, I'm the world famous blacksmith Jakku Goro." Jakku said with a proud tone of voice. Now that they got that out of the way, Jakku decided to check and see if they were hiding behind that backdoor. He placed the cucco on top of one of the barrels and picked up his hammer. Walking up to the door he grabbed the knob and began turning it to see if it was locked.

Aya allowed a sigh to escape her lips relieved that they could take a quick breather. Sheathing her weapon, she looked on over to her wound, and decided to heal it up. Flesh wounds were annoying but fortunately it wasn't bad. Soon enough all that was left was a small cut in her shirt, and a bit of blood. No biggie~

Her firelight eyes widened a little feeling a small shake in the earth when the Goron walked up to her. Holy crap, he is certainly bigger than I thought he would be... Gorons are giants man, she noted internally. She scratched the back of her head awkwardly as he asked for her name.

"Thanks, dude. Ayameru Crossfire," she answered, "Call me Aya for short. I've got to say, you're a beast with that hammer." The fire in her eyes simmered down a little seeing the golden cucco picked up, and taken by the Jakku.

"You're going to take the bird?" she snickered, "You two make an interesting pair. I hope you're not into cuckoldry~"

Bad joke aside~ She was kidding. Guess he wasn't going to take the bird. She shrugged her shoulders, and followed along with Jakku~

For now, anyways. The feathered creature clucked lightly as the goron picked it up, tilting its head jerkily as all cuccos had a tendency to do. As he placed it back down, atop the barrel, it didn't seem to pay any attention as it preened its feathers. If it wasn't out of place then, certainly it was out of place now. Moving right along, the door opened easily for the duo, swinging open to reveal... darkness. The light from the room they currently resided in flooded only a tiny bit into the new area, shadows dancing enough to see that there was grass on the floor, and many trees, close together--so close that the tops blocked out the light of the moon, providing this door appeared to lead outside, and also that it was night time. If they tried to see further into the darkness, they would be stopped by a wall of trees. Should they dare to fully enter, they would see two different paths, a left and a right, once again walled by trees and trees. Considering the thick brush overhead, flight was not an option, and they would be blinded by the darkness. A forest maze, of all things, had presented itself.
